Does it have to be a public official? If not, I genuinely have a lot of politically conservative Republican friends that I can say many nice things about. I discuss politics and current events with them on a regular basis (thus giving me the occasional opportunity to talk them down from the most egregious Fox News nonsense they have been repeating - like the neo-Black Panthers nonsense).

It’s really too bad that she beat Campbell in the primary. I think he’s the kind of conservative that many on this board could agree with at least part of the time. He always struck me as a classy, very intelligent guy. Carli…, well I can’t forgive her for what she did to HP. We Silicon Valley techie types don’t hold her in much regard.

My first printer was an HP. When it finally zonked out, I started buying HPs as throwaway printers. Now, they aren’t even good enough for that.
