The Incubus Household High Standards allow one to be “skinny by American standards”. This is not necessarily the same thing as being in shape. It basically means being boringly average in the weight department.
One should note that his wife is supposedly “skinny by American standards” but as a qualifier, this should not be confused with “skinny by Mexican standards.” Because I’m pretty sure the latter would be equal to “fat by American standards” and this would just not do as per the Incubus Household High Standards.

If you search his username for “cruise,” it also pulls up how he was a former Nice Guy and that he’d pitted his mom for “always doing stuff” for him. The kicker? That means he’s 33 years old now and still behaving with the maturity of a fruit fly. Looking at those old posts are frigging hilarious in the light of his awesome, non-whiny enlightenment.

Not to derail the pile-on, but if SF is like most cities, they’ve cut back on routes and laid off drivers in a struggling economy. The drivers who are left work a lot of overtime, at least in Portland.
I need to apply for a bus driving job.

In SF, they had taken the OT route back in 2009 but costs were out of control. So they have since taken to hiring more part-time drivers (lower hourly rate for new drivers, fewer/no benefits for part-time) and cutting down on the OT. However, that approach doesn’t work for managers and supervisors, so those are the people raking in the OT now.
Has Incubus ever posted a picture of himself? If only because in my personal experience, the “No Fat Chicks!” types usually aren’t exactly GQ cover model material.

Looking back over his posting history, I need to revise my theory… since he can never shut up about anything, I found umpteen dozen threads about his wedding. Ergo, he must’ve really gotten married at some point. But, somewhere around 2013, the tone of his posts changed. Yes, he’d always been a bit awkward with the over-sharing (like probably most of us can be occasionally), but at that point he started really aiming for “I’m so evolved” points. Then after that he apparently started becoming bitter and judgmental, two things he hadn’t expressed much of before, and he certainly began to have some sort of bizarre fetish with regards to fat chicks.
So, what was the change and what precipitated it? Well, when he initially talked about his wife, he sounded totally like a thunder struck kid in love, which I believe is understandable due to one’s life experiences. However, it seems that time frame coincided with, all of a sudden, him describing her as basically super human. Perfect traits and greatly above the rest of the plebes. In essence, like she wasn’t real anymore, but someone he was trying to impress others with. My theory is, despite the big, fancy nuptials, the high paying job, him ascending into Perfect Guy ™ hood, etc., she left him for whatever reason.
That could’ve been because he’s an insufferable prick in real life or that he didn’t change as much as she wanted. Regardless, he’s now making all these endless, attention whoring, trolling posts to get it out of his system, especially if he can’t ever say anything to her, nor let on to us that he’s really not all that and a bag of chips. Perhaps it was due to an overweight fellow that she packed her bags. Or he couldn’t ever let it go when she started to gain weight. Who knows. But I will say that he didn’t use to be this much of an asshole. As a matter of fact, there for a while he was quite pleasant and did show growth. It’s a shame that whatever transpired has left him like this, wagging his finger at imaginary transgressions that wouldn’t be any of his business anyway.
I doubt he has. This type never does.
I do find it surprising that a person who hadn’t even started her MSW back in 2011 is now making $150k, bilingual or not, especially given these ranges. But that’s Hot Mexican Wives for ya!

BUT!!! The charitable side of me thinks it was just an extremely bad picture of Incubus. He was frowning. I don’t care if you’re Denzel Washington…no one looks good when they are frowning like he was. There was a thread where he once mentioned intentionally posting ugly OKCupid pics…I guess to screen out the superficial BBW from the nice ones? But I don’t know why he would post the ugliest picture he could find of himself here. I guess maybe he was going through some low self-esteem or something.
Seems to me that while Incubus has always been a self-righteous poster, he didn’t get really crazy with it until this year. It’s not just the fat chick stuff, but also his Aspie obsession.
Perhaps I share some of the blame for giving him the attention he so desperately wants.
I never denied being involved with an obese woman. The one you linked was an incredibly picky ex of mine. She was a picky eater, passive, whiny, and antisocial. I thought it was an isolated case, but being around other large women I started noticing patterns in their behavior tied to their weight. With my wife it’s the polar opposite; she takes care of her body, and her life extremely well.
Her income is far above the average due to overtime worked. Right now she works about 70 hours a week. Being bilingual also gives her 15% more per hour.
