I’m afraid it was the movie’s mistake. They also put the nazca lines in the Andes. I can only assume that the corners of the Bermuda Triangle will consist of Stonehenge, the Taj Mahal, and The Great Barrier Reef.

This has already been debunked by regular Indiana Jones Producer, Frank Marshall. It’s not happening as described, if it’s even happening at all; it’s all a big load of porkie-pies.
Gotta love the attempt to blame not the site that posted the completely false information, or the sites that repeated it, but the producer who didn’t drop everything to respond immediately.
