Hi folks, I work as an lsp for Indiana University South-east’s Library and I can’t get a Canon ms400 microfilm scanner to work (SCSI interface). I have tried both the isis and the twain drivers from Canon’s site, but can get neither to work. I have installed an aspi layer and have tried using both Windows 98 and 2000. The isis testapp.exe tells me “string not found” and the twain apps I have tried say “The necessary file may be missing or damaged, or the settings may be incorrect. Reinstall the scanner driver. The scanner driver will be closed.” Also, plug and play detects the scanner, but I can not find an inf file anywhere that describes the driver, so hardware manager says there is a problem. Have any of you ever had problems like this before with a scanner, especially the Canon ms400?
