Intellectualize song lyrics game

That last one’s “Mairzy Doats”, by Jerry Livingston, Milton Drake and Al Hoffman (I had to Google for the writers).

Mairzy doats, and dozy doats, and liddle lamzy divey!

No one’s gotten mine yet, apparently, but I’ve improved it:

In a list of objects in the solar system which exercise the weakest of the classical four forces upon objects on the Earth, ranked from weakest to strongest, the ultimate and antipenultimate objects on this list embody my existence. The relative statistical frequency of my reticence is high enough to imply that legal penalties for it are appropriate.

“Snug, Mine umbra and I, solitary and despondent are we.
Mine umbra and I: bereft of others to whom we may unbosom ourselves.
At midday we escalate, but percuss not upon the portal, for none are in residence save mine umbra and I, solitary and despondent.”

is that “Me and my shadow”? I don’t know who sings it.

Capacitor, is that Collective Soul’s “The world around me”?

Here’s an easy one, heard it in the '80s hour on my way home…

Bilabial motions are in evidence, and vibrations are released. The phonemes produced have measurable volume, yet I remain dubious.

If anyone would like to look for my first one, it’s Matchbox 20… I still think I must have tweaked it too much.

Repost it TeaRoses…let us beat our heads against it some more.

The other one…“Talkin loud and sayin nothin” originally by James Brown, covered by Living Colour?

L-g-b8: “Shout” by Tears for Fears?

Ludovic: "Drops of Jupiter: by Train?

Aw, you’re sweet, Mr. Boy: Here’s what I’ve said about it so far:

TR1: A diagnosis from the DSM-IV is not the issue. It is merely a state of minor disequilibrium. I am aware that it is impossible for you to evaluate concurrently.

Think of a song that’s on the radio a LOT right now. It’s Matchbox 20. And it’s not the verse, it’s the chorus, tweaked too much…

Re: the second one: (TR2?) actually no, it’s not that one.

Mr.B, no it is not. It is though a very famous, not exactly chorus, more a refrain.

In fact, it is the second most famous first words in a certain genre of music, if not all of music.

Skeezix, Lamia and MrBoy: you’re correct about “Me and My Shadow” and “Mairzy Doats.”

Okay, one more time:

A simile to an area of inpenetrable massive overgrowth exists now and then, creating in yours truly a contemplation as to what manner I remain buoyant.

Don’t give up, capacitor, I’m racking my brains! I can get this, honest!

I think I can decipher its parts, but when I assemble them, they don’t resemble anything I recognize. This is a goooood one Capacitor.

I’m not a big fan, and I don’t listen to much radio these days, but is TR1: Matchbox 20 “Unwell”

I’m stumped on alla the open ones…

A repost (and if anyone’s guessed these, correctly or otherwise, I missed it, mea culpa)

SKEE01: It is currently possible to observe your narrator, an experienced combatant, tempered by a large number of skirmishes which have taken place primarily in the realm of the non-physical.

SKEE02: Diseased entities in combustion powered conveyances orbit the gaseous stellar bodies that I consider to be personal property.

SKEE04: Proceed, and cling to the female under discussion, until the high volume emissions reach a conclusion. Proceed to accept her words at face value when she opines that there is no disturbance of note.

There is no other entity but me who would traverse open combustion, simply for your sake. Additionally, none other would be willing to submerse himself in his own yearning for your presence.

[sub]And I’m gonna WAG once more: capacitor’s tune runs along the lines of “It’s a jungle out there, makes me wonder how I stay afloat” but I don’t have the foggiest idea what the song is. Am I gonna kick m’self when I see the answer?[/sub]

Incoherently making animal noises I plummeted on the neck of a man
Repeatedly following crazed vengeful people
Walk forth happily out of oblivion headed to a sleep induced fantasy

Good job, MrBoy1967! (can’t say I’m a big fan myself but that song is kind of catchy IMHO)

I was hoping to combine this post with an answer but none of these are reminding me of anything, especially capacitor’s. I’m just going to sit here and stare at them all for a while.

I, and my companions, inhabit a sub-aqua transportation apparatus, the exterior surface of which reflects light of approximately 570nm in wavelength.

Nope, no one’s gotten mine yet. Hammos, Yellow Submarine.
