I just got a new computer and got an Intel Camera with it. Now, this thing is detachable to use as a regular snapshot camera, digital, or to make a 14 second video or to make an Internet video call with.

It makes the Internet call to a specific spot, owned by the company who made the camera. Do I need additional software to use it for a live cam to view people with or to let people view me? I do not keep a website, never having needed one nor having the desire to maintain one and I do not keep my computer on all of the time, having only one phone line.

I figured someone here would know.

try truetech.com I use them, free website, free software, automatic setup of it all for you, free chat room, etc. beautiful idea & I use it with all my computers.

Well, thanks for the information. I might actually figure this thing out one of these days – not that they cover much in the instructions.
