Miss Mary, the lady I posted about a couple of weeks ago, who’s been in the hospital a long time but was maybe gettin’ better, died last night. I got word about an hour ago.

I am so sleepy, and I have to irk until 9.
I had weird dreams last night and woke up too early.
Got my 1099 today and then I remembered I did some other work and don’t know if I will get a 1099 from them or not. Oh well, no rush to get them done when you’re gonna have to pay anyway.

Thanks Y’all! Mary and Jim are the sweet couple who used to live on the next road over from me until they moved into an assisted living place. He’s the older gentleman I always make sure has a ride to men’s night. Just two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and married for 65 years. Miss Mary had congestive heart failure for around thirty years and had been in hospice care six years ago but bounced back. One can bounce back just so many times however.

We finally got our W2’s in the mail today. Yay! That means we have to do taxes. Booooo.
I am still a single lady tonight. mr ems is not back until tomorrow and I am bored. I had to work from home today as well as no vehicle so I really really really some human interaction.
Just had a call from the dealership - we pick up the new car tomorrow!

I’m going to try to contact someone by phone soon (maybe tomorrow.) It’s someone I met online, and I haven’t actually talked to her yet, but more on tat later, perhaps. 
Oh yes, and there’s something new and special in my life, but maybe I’ll write about it later. Or start a thread about it.

Is he bringing the new two-wheeled motorized carrige for me to see? It’s only gonna be 23° with approx 1" of snow tonite & a high of 37° tomorrow. Why does he need four wheels & an enclosed cabin w/ heat? :rolleyes:
A moment of silence please. OBL, who only need 27 hrs to take a chunk out of his plastic post-surgery lampshade has managed to totally kill it today. It put up a vailant fight though; Somehow it managed to crack & end up on both the inside & outside of his cage; pinning him against the wall. :smack:
He started feeling better a few days ago. Let me tell you, you have not experienced absolute TERROR until you come into your house & have a lampshade (with a wagging tail) come charging at you, excited that you’re home! It’s so wide (& longer than his snout) I didn’t know which way to move to get away from it.
I just spent a half-hour in chat trying to convince my boss & co-workers that “stuff you guys all have memorized” really doesn’t count as documentation.
I am sorry, poor thing, but man that made me laugh so loud i woke LibbyCat up who was sitting on the recliner with me.
I need a drink.
