Just started last week. Is this a thing negotiated, or is it a bug? And how do I mute the ad without muting my PC audio entirely?
Do not do what the voices are telling you to do!!!

What is the ad about? Name of product/company would be useful.
Also where you are – in the past most of the audio ads seem to be targeted to the UK.

I’m in Chicago and I got an audio ad yesterday. Didn’t pay attention to what it was for or what time it happened (though it was between 9a-5p CST). I closed out of the browser window as fast as I could.
I’m in Tampa, Florida, and the last ad I heard playing was in Spanish.
The one that I just got was something called World of Tanks. It had a mute button, so no biggy, but still, I hate those ads.

I had the same issue. I don’t remember what the ad was, though. I put everything on mute. 
Just got one in Cafe Society for Woolite.

Yeah, I get them at work when I get on the board but don’t log in. I think one was a car ad and another one was for some sort of medicine…you have to wait like 5 seconds before you can turn them off. But it only happens when I get on without logging in, at least for me.

I know I’m not going to be much help, but I’m in SC, and I have heard at least four or five in the past week or so. I look at SD at home while logged in, and while at work usually logged out, and I noticed them in both places. I am pretty sure I only had one at work, the majority are when I’m logged in at home.
I wasn’t paying much attention, and I just muted my computer, so I don’t even know what they were about. I have a niggling feeling that one of them was an insurance ad, I think car insurance.
