Will there be an SSX 3? I’ve searched Gamespot and various PS2 forums and can’t find anything on it. It’s the best snowboarding game ever and sold very well so I dont see why they wouldn’t, but it has been 2 years…any info?

I know if they do I’ll buy it the first day it comes out because all the money I’ve spent renting Tricky is about 2-3 times how much it costs to actually buy the damn thing now.
Yes they are. It has a working title of “SSX: New”, and much more will be revealed at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the be-all and end-all of news, rumors, and stunning anouncements in the world of video games. So far the poop says it will be out by Q4 2003, but as with all video game release dates, that is subject to change.
IIRC, E3 takes place in mid-May. TONS of huge gaming news comes out of there, just follow the major gaming websites for the info.
(Personally, I’m more interested in whether or not we’ll see a new Grand Theft Auto game in 2003–the lastest rumors have the series on hold until 2004, and a ground-up new game as a launch title for the PS3 in 2005.)
