Muslims don’t like analysing their faith? Have you ever been to a traditional madrassat, an Indonesian pesantren or a large mosque? Discussion and analysis of Islam is pretty much what goes on there all day. If you mean that Muslims tend to be a bit edgy about people who speak no Arabic tendering their own translations of fundamental principles, I would think that they would have a right to be intolerant to this. However, in this thread, I don’t think they (Bibliovore, aldebaran) have been.
