Something along the lines of blahblah dawson and joey finally do it. Then woman announcer says something like “Is it a big mistake”
duh. This is Dawson’s Creek, every frigging thing they do is a big mistake. Two sugars in someone’s tea (instead of one) - End of the world. Dawson forgets to tie an extra knot in his shoes - Universe implodes.
Sorry but I find all the analytical mumbo-whiney-arsing-about in that show really annoying. I had the intense misfortune to be adicted to it a few years ago (well I was adicted to watching it with a friend and lauging at various things like the fact that it’s almost impossible to understand what they are saying half the time)

‘cancelled?’ Don’t you mean. ‘Over?’ Cancelled implies that it was cut-off mid flow or ‘axed’.
I am in Britain where things get shown hundreds of years after they are filmed.
That’s not an either or question.
While I agree it’s completely annoying and without worth, it is also extremely addicting, for some godawful unknown reason. I know countless people who despised the show and yet watched it every week, as if looking for reasons to despise it some more.
I always thought it was interesting that Pacey was a complete jerk and yet came out looking like the greatest guy in the world because he was surrounded by people who were that much worse…
Some people have made a career out of being annoyed with Dawson’s Creek. Television without Pity began as a Dawson’s Creek site.
Like all the worst recreational drugs it’s intensely annoying but strangely gripping (although seasons 5 and 6 did their best to be as uninteresting and unwatchable as possible). Nobody in the entire universe actually ever liked Dawson Leary, and most people got fed up with Joey after about 2 or 3 seasons. Pacey is tolerable in comparison but the rest of the characters were just completely crap and inconsistent. At least the first season, which largely consisted of movie parodies, was good fun.
Hm. Now that I think about it, I watched this show for about two seasons and I don’t remember anything about it. I guess Mr. Blue Sky was right.
