Pubic hair is a sign of sexual maturity. A couple of posters said a full bush is gross. Of course, some women find facial hair on men gross, too.
You’ve never read any interviews given by Jennifer Love-Hewitt, have you? I think if you googled “vajazzalized” or something similar, you’d realize there’s nothing new under the sun. Indeed.

Right. Not too many pre-pubescent girls have breasts, either. Those are usually found on a woman with a shaved pussy.

Male, 52. First two females I had any experience with (1978 and 1983) didn’t appear to have shaved at all. Last GF groomed but left a little something on her little something.
I’ve never been a shaver. Hate doing it every day and hate letting it grow back even worse. I’m 53 and have just started the full Brazillian wax. I love it! So soft and smooooooth. Yummy!

Woman here, age 51. Married twice (and currently, happily so for 18 years now). Not particularly hairy; have never had to shave legs or pits more than weekly. And have never trimmed or shaved the lady garden. It simply never occurred to me, and no partner has ever suggested it.
Thank goodness. It sounds highly unpleasant and high-maintenance.

I shave it all off every few weeks at least, and have for about 8 years now. I’m 27. Most of my friends my age, if not all natural, have never completely shaved or waxed and think it’s weird. They’ll shave around the bikini line and trim, but nothing like me.
ETA: I’m currently single and sexually inactive. I still shave every coupla weeks. I just prefer it.
I’m a trimmer. I and my boyfriend prefer it short. I can (carefully!) shave the labia with no problem, but as others have mentioned, the itching anywhere else is unbearable!
I can’t imagine a Brazilian, either. OMG! Do women mostly do their own? Or do they go to the little salons that advertise them on sandwich boards on the highway? For the life of me, I can not imagine letting some woman I don’t know (or do know) yank out my pubic hair.

I’ve seen partial shaving a lot, especially the actual lips shaved with a little hair left above. And I’ve seen complete shaving in over 1/2 of my girlfriends/wives, even if they didn’t always keep it that way.
Really if the woman likes oral performed on her, it makes things a lot easier. If they don’t like oral I don’t care greatly either way as long as it’s not a total jungle down there.
Male, 55, and all the women I’ve seen in person were unshaven except sometimes on the legs. I like that just fine and am bewildered as to how the sight of naked women stopped being considered sexy. Armpits and legs unshaven are also perfectly pretty for me.

It kinda does, depending on the size of the lady’s lady parts; and it certainly resembles it more than one with a short but dense area of hair.
And shaved legs might not have been the best example, since pre-pubescent girls have more hair on their legs than the average (American) post-pubescent girl.
Male, 55. My ex, (married 1978-85) was untrimmed. I asked her to shave a few times but it was not very mainstream at the time and she was completely uninterested in any but the most minimal trimming.
I’m not sexually active (with other people) but I prefer totally bare on a woman, looks-wise.
I do some shaving on myself but have bad breakout issues in the area between penis and belly button.
