Why? Because he found her guilty of prostitution and sentenced her to time in prison, and she thought that was unfair. Really. That was the entirety of the case. I don’t think she even claimed she was innocent - just that she didn’t think she should be punished.

She should have sued for loss of income.

Kirstie Alley could be a great Nancy Grace. Bonus points: her southern accent would be horrible and she would weigh about 300 pounds more than Nancy…

Kirstie Alley was just on DWTS. She’s in her skinny phase now. My vote would go to the Food Network’s own Pauler Deen. She could pull it off without even trying.

I think you reach the right conclusion in your last sentence but not sufficiently strongly to redeem your first. Prosecutors have the ability to make innocent people’s lives hell if they are unethical. Not only do they have the power to do wrong, they have the power to undermine people’s faith in the whole system. Hate filled psycho prosecutors are more dangerous (because they have more power) than your average hate filled psycho.

Preach it. This is why prosecutors must hold each other to the very highest ethical standards.
