Additionally, she has blatantly lied over and over about the circumstances of her fiance’s murder (she claimed he was cut down tragically by some random asshole with a long record and this was the reason for her alleged law-and-order passion, when in reality he was shot by a disgruntled co-worker with no record). When confronted with this information, she merely claimed she was “going by the information I had at the time”, yet her fiance was killed in 1979 and she was still spouting these lies about his death until just recently when the internet made it possible to ferret out the truth. No, it isn’t. But she has worked as a prosecutor of violent crime, and I guess society is better off if a hate filled psycho is working as a prosecutor than working as a criminal, although we’d be much better off if prosecutors were intelligent, pragmatic people who felt it was their job to protect society (not fulfill some emotional black hole inside them). Not that those are the only 2 options, but a lot of people with destructive urges (the desire to terrify, bully, humiliate, degrate, dominate, etc) do try to find outlets for those by joining the military or legal system. I guess it is somewhat better than the alternative of them directing that explosive, unfocused rage at society at large. Then again, when you get those kinds of people you get a public that hates and fears cops, judges, lawyers and soldiers. So that isn’t good either.

I think you reach the right conclusion in your last sentence but not sufficiently strongly to redeem your first. Prosecutors have the ability to make innocent people’s lives hell if they are unethical. Not only do they have the power to do wrong, they have the power to undermine people’s faith in the whole system. Hate filled psycho prosecutors are more dangerous (because they have more power) than your average hate filled psycho.

Hate filled psycho prosecutors are more dangerous (because they have more power) than your average hate filled psycho.

But when you take away their power and give them TV shows instead, they become entertaining.

I watched a Dr. Drew episode about the Anthony murder trial last night and there was hardly any yelling and nobody ever said Tot Mom or screamed the audience. Highlight It made me wonder if they realize they’re on HLN. The only rudeness was from Mark Geregos and Leonard Padilla took him down, and by took him down I mean that when Geregos sneered at Padilla’s credentials he reminded the snooty Geregos that he himself (Padilla) is also a lawyer but one who has 36 years of experience with accused felons in general and spent much time with the Anthony family in particular.

This is a bad thread. It is way too limiting. She is not the most repellent person in show business. her range of repellency reaches far past show business. She is offensive to lawyers, all Tv, womankind anjd humanity.
