I don’t really know what date-rape is and how it differs from other kinds of rape, but it seems to me fairly clear that rape in general (the real thing, not the silly feminist extended version) is worse than other kinds of violence partly on account of the forced intimacy – which might be described as a soul-tie if you insist. The part about transferring guilt is silly.
