Kanicbird, Just Leave It Alone

http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=12769988&postcount=2

I know you have some…special…ideas about violence and rape. I find them exceptionally deviant, forthrightly offensive, and would question your sincerity had you not been so inerringly consistent about the subject for so long.

In sum, you are one scary motherfucker. I haven’t read enough of your posts to have a good handle on how you live your life day to day, but I do hope that you live in some area of the world quite remote from me and that you never encounter me or any of my friends or family in any capacity.

The scary thing is despite how frightening his views are, he always comes across as very cheerful and more or less polite. He never gets angry or annoyed even when people are telling him how insane he is. I can’t help picturing some guy who doesn’t look like a weirdo (dresses all right, is polite) and then when you get to know him, you find out he’s truly insane.

kanicbird once again shows himself to be a crazy person. I’m shocked.

Yeah, I agree, but, uh, good luck with this one.

Well, there’s the kind of crazy where you think aliens gave you an anal probe. To that, I say, “Hey, free country.”

Then there’s the kind of crazy where you think it is a blessing for a nubile woman to be raped.

To that, I say, “Get the torches.”

Great. Now I’ll picture this person as Elijah Wood’s character in Sin City.

“KBird” is crazy as a shit house mouse.

The linked post was (surprise, surprise) a little hard to for me parse, but if kanicbird is arguing that victims of rape who become pregnant should consider it a potential blessing and carry their babies to term, then he apparently is of the same mind as such worthies as Rand Paul and Sharron Angle. In other words, maybe kancibird should consider running for Congress.

I preferred kanicbird before he found Jesus.

Back then, he was just a garden-variety asshole who you could call a douchebag and move on. Now he’s no fun, because he’s as impervious to insults as he is to logic and reason.

The scary thing is that that was one of his milder um, “musings”.

Wow…you’re very, very frighteningly correct.

Something you may wish to consider, kanicbird. When someone:

  1. Sees a pit thread about you,
  2. Thinks “What’s that loon barking about now?”,
  3. Finds out that it’s about how rape victims who become impregnated by their rapist should cherish the wonderful gift they’ve received,
  4. And thinks “Huh…well that’s not really up there on the kanicbird scale”…

…then you be a little more batshit insane than you had previously realized.

The boy’s cheese slid off his cracker a long, long time ago.

Technically, he said it’s a blessing for a nubile woman who wants children to be raped, not any nubile woman.

I didn’t realize that happened when during his time here.

The only thing you can say about kanicbird is that he’s never going to get it. He says a lot of disturbed crap like this, and he’s never shown any reaction to the people who find his comments disgusting, so he’s not going to get it now either. Everybody knows he’s nuts and I suppose that’s good news. I did think the second part of his statement was interesting. It sounded like he was saying we shouldn’t be upset at male rapists because they just want to procreate. And if he’s actually saying something else I don’t really give a flying fuck.

Actually it sounded even more like he(?) was saying that female rape victims who are ready to become pregnant get raped because it is time for them to be pregnant. In other words, that they deserve to be raped so that they can get pregnant.

We should compile a lexicon of all of his beliefs. It’d be interesting to try to create a picture of a world in which everything worked like he says. Though that may be the road to madness.

I gave up trying to get through to kanicbird within only a few days here at SDMB. I guess others are still fighting the good fight.

Sorry–I thought that the classical (not usual) definition for that word included a proclivity for conception. I see now that said definition only includes marriage, though more recent usage has shifted this to an appearance of sexual readiness.

One time I went back and forth with kanicbird, in an effort to get a line on the madness of his method. It turns out he believes in soul ties, so he places great stock in a potential bond between partakers of sex. He thinks this bond forms irrevocably, whether or not those involved had feelings for each other. This belief may not make sense, but it’s something to bear in mind when he comes off sounding like a complete loon.

I tried keeping that fact in mind, but somehow it failed to mitigate any of the crazy. It may have magnified it.
