I’m gonna shoehorn a brief anecdote into this thread because I don’t know where else to put it and it’s for sure not worth it’s own thread.

When I was in college a guy I know took exception when I referred to his fraternity as a ‘frat’.

“Don’t call it a frat! Would you call your country a ‘cunt’?”

“No,” I replied, “but I’d call you one.”
