I tried one but it didn’t work wondered if there is a FREE fax service on the internet where you don’t have to pay every month?

Why would you trust a free tax service? What incentive would they have for doing the ongoing backbreaking work of keeping it up-to-date, let alone getting it right in the first place?

I read tax. Really I did. That was a “t” not an “f”.
Sigh.
If you need unlimited faxing, then no. If you only need to send or receive a few faxes per month then yes, efax is free if you only need to use it occasionally. I have been using it off an on for a year with no problems (and at no cost to me).
Do you happen to have a scanner around? Why not just scan the document and email it to the recipient?
And there is a free tax service – TaxAct.com.
eFax used to give free Internet faxing, but it looks like they have instituted a free. I have a free account, but I haven’t used it for years.
A quick search shows FaxZero, which includes an ad in each fax.
I think I used taxact, and they’re free if you want to print and send your forms yourself (I think). They offer to file for you online for a fee. Or something to that effect.
