Sounds like a stupid question I know, but I was tweeting about the short story contest that I just emailed off, because I’m trying to do a #novelengage tweet about my writing every day, and for the heck of it I put in #SDMB, and then once the tweet came up, I clicked on it to search.
No other tweets came up. I tried #Straightdope next, and there were a lot of those, but nothing that really seemed Cecil Adams-related.
I can’t imagine that I’ll really need to tweet much about what’s going on on the dope, but is there a better hash tag to use, or does #SDMB make as much sense as anything?
Half the fun of tweeting for me is coming up with hashtags that no one else will ever use. I am particularly enamored of #sciencehasbeenserved and #yaywine.
I would provide the context but then your post would be deleted and mine would hang there looking weird and someone would reference it confusedly and the whole cycle would start all over again.
edit: Ok, fine. A spammer posted telling everyone to follow her twitter and subsequently got deleted leaving the reported post flapping forlornly in the breeze until it was deleted as well.
