Wonderland is not a bad idea, although it’s always so packed on weekends, which is when I presume we’d be doing something.
Declan, if you’re talking about Wild Water Kingdom at 7855 Finch Ave West, my experiences have not been very good. Dirty, pungent water and heavy crowding. I’ve hardly been often enough to be able to say that’s what it’s like categorically, but that’s my anecdotal evidence.
I don’t get back from Tokyo until August 28, and it takes me a few days to get back on track, so if I’m organizing anything, it’ll be early September. However, the needs of the many outweigh… etc, etc.

Can we get some votes for WHEN, first? I’d suggest September 13 or September 20, primarily for reasons mentioned above. How does that work for people? Would you folks prefer to do it in August (trying to avoid Doperéal in case there are any people who’d like to attend both)?

I’m gonna have to pass on a TorDope this fall, whenever it is, sadly, because I’m pretty busy, and I’ll be starting up school again in September. Can I just ask that it not move down to the weekend of Oct. 11? (I’ve got other doperific plans in the works with some folks, and wouldn’t want a conflict of interests).
I live near Toronto but I’m incredibly shy when it comes to these things.

September 13 would be slightly better for me, personally, because I’ll be organizing an October CD launch and by the end of Sept. I’ll be a walking ball of stress. But Sept. 20 would probably still be okay as long as no one minds me acting and looking like Beaker with bug eyes and a lot of nonsensical “Mi! Mi! Mi! Mi!”
Any time in September is okay for me, I think. I already posted, but it was eaten. August is not so good.
I would also like to avoid August. Dopereal is then, as well as my trip to the north shore of Lake Superior for a week.
scott evil, that was in fact an é. I think that’s what happens when you assume everything uses Unicode, and the SDMB speaks ISO 8859-1…

Since Dopereal probably won’t be able to happen for me, I’d be soooo good for a Torondope. I’m just across the lake in The Hammer, so even without transportation, the GO bus could be my friend.
I’d definitely prefer September or October, for financial reasons.

If it’s still nice in Sept I’d love to go to the Island. Highly under-rated. And we can get nekkid on Hanlan’s Point if necessary.
I’ve got to admit that I’m still having trouble grasping the concept of it being necessary that we get nekkid.
