WHY is this guy on TV? WHAT redeeming qualities does he have?

I mean Kathy Griffin is awful but she is sexy in a disgusting way and is marginally funny once in a great while…

He isn’t even the most annoying, vapid and superficial guy named Andy. That would be Andy Dick.

He is on TV because he spent 10 years with CBS News including as a producer and also has a degree in journalism, believe it or not. He is an executive VP at Bravo so I’m sure the majority of his work is still off camera despite having some work in front of the camera. He apparently won an Emmy as Executive Producer of Top Chef.

Bravo gave Andy his own show. It airs right after Top Chef on Wed.

He is annoying. I watch once in awhile when Tom Colicchio or Gail are guests. He’s had the Housewives on many times and I can’t stand any of them.

If you watch anything on Bravo, you know (or should know) who he is.

And yes, he is highly annoying, but not as annoying as Andy Dick.

I like Andy. I don’t see him as vapid, superficial, or annoying though. My problem with him is that he kowtows to Bravo’s “stars”. He never asks the hard questions or calls them out when they’re obviously lying. But I guess all talk show hosts do that, or at least the ones I’ve seen. And he probably does that to keep up the “reality” pretense.

I think he’s on five nights a week now.
