I’ve never gotten into a conversation with salad dressing, much less had a disagreement with it. The fact that I disagreed with you in the transplant thread has nothing to do with moves I made. And to someone who’s been around this board for a while, both of your threads were obviously salad dressing.

What evidence? Your thread topic might’ve been satire, or a thinly-disguised rant, or something less coherent (I’ve read it twice and still don’t quite get what you’re getting at, although you seem irritated about something). What it definitely wasn’t was a debate. You could be the bestest, most favoritest Golden Boy of a poster ever to be caressed by the kid gloves of this board’s doting moderators, and it still would’ve been yanked and thrown somewhere else, or just put out of its misery (as I’d have been inclined to do).

Like I said to the other put words in mouth folks such as yourself, point to the quote in the OPs where I state that it definitely WAS a debate. Or where I say the move was unjustified.

You say you are not disputing the threads being moved; the difference between your Noah thread and the Videotaping Cops thread has been explained more than once; you haven’t received as much as a mod note, much less a warning, so what is the problem?

You seem to think it is somehow unfair that the Videotaping Cops thread was not moved while your Noah thread was. I’d call that disputing the move/mod action. Apparently you would call it something else. Possibly Corn Flake Bars.

However, in the interest of world peace and board harmony, let it be known that I, Oakminster, deeply regret stating that strugglingChristian disputed the move. My shame knows no bounds. I shall shave my head, smear ashes on my face, and wear sackcloth as a reminder to all others to avoid such horrible crimes in the future.

Or maybe I’ll go outside for a smoke. One of those will probably happen.

If someone says, “A and B are alike letters but are treated differently”

the proper responses include
“why are you disputing the categorization of ‘a’ as a letter?”
“If you don’t like the alphabet, you have options, go to the numbers scale”
“one time I whined about A being B and C threw a fit”
“what is the problem? you are being overly emotional about the alphabet don’t you think?”
“no big deal, no need to dispute that ‘a’ is a letter”
as well as “B was obviously C so stuff it”

Thanks to all who actually stuck to topic and explained why they disagree instead of claiming that I was claiming that my post belonged where i had misplaced it.

But they’re not alike. There is zero point of commonality between the two threads you’re trying to say are alike except that they are written in the English language on the same message board.

I’m probably just asking for trouble here, but this thing is going steadily downhill and I don’t think anything is going to be accomplished by allowing this to continue. I’m closing the thread.
