I’ll be the one just getting over a hangover from the Scott Miller show the night before. New album! Woot!
We’re leaving early tomorrow morning. Gonna spend Friday and Saturday in Knoxville, then hie down to Chattanooga and spend most of Sunday there. Woohoo!
Chattanooga, eh? That’s my neck of the woods.
If you like barbecue, go to Sticky Fingers for lunch. I love the place and I’m not even that fond of the stuff.

Yea, morelin’s touring the Great Southern Cities, courtesy of me. Knoxville, Chattanooga, Savannah (GA), Atlanta. We plan to see Rock City, naturally, and then I hear there’s a pretty good aquarium in Chattanooga, so there’s that. And maybe Ruby Falls. I know the Incline Railway is a big tourist thing, but I went on it when I was a kid and was very unimpressed.
Yeah, Chattanooga’s alright (I grew up there so I’m slightly biased against it). The aquarium is neat. It opened around my senior year in high school, and I’m still a little frustrated that Atlanta’s planning to build one there. How much tourism do they need to draw away from other towns anyway?
Aesiron, are you still planning on coming up? If so, I’m not working Saturday so you can plan on whatever time you’re comfortable with - if it changes from the 6:30 or so we mentioned, just let me know so I’m not off running around or something. I’ll likely be home working on school stuff anyway, but in case an urgent need to go to Target develops…
Good god! I checked the menu and nearly wept for joy. I’m just scared I’d never leave the place.
I’m thinking I’ll go. I’m still not a hundred percent certain though. Is there any specific time you’d like me to be there by? I’m not sure I’m very good company so I doubt you’ll want me there too early.

Hey I just heard about Sticky Fingers on the food channel the other day. It got rave reviews and I didn’t know one was that close to home. Cool. Hubby and I will have to check that out sometime. I am so hungry thinking about it.

I saw that too. I was surprised to hear it was so small scale and that it got airplay on the Food Network. Try it, you won’t be dissapointed. The ribs are so tender that you can break the bones like breadsticks.
If we ever have a Chattdope, we should all meet there.

6:30ish works - that satisifies my need to be places early, but prevents me from leaving here (and it’s probably about 10-15 minutes to Barley’s from here) an hour before I need to be there!
Like I said, I’ll be there early so the Little Miss will be properly fed and that tables will be “reserved.” I plan on showing around 7:00pm, so if anyone arrives any time after that there’ll be Dopers there.
I’ll put the table under the name “Cecil Adams.” Or “The Adam’s Family”. 
Do we need nametags?
It’d be best if we had them, just in case.
It’s storming bad here in Cleveland and we’re expected to get more tomorrow. Is Knoxville getting the same weather? If so, I might not make it after all.
Today has actually been lovely, once this morning’s clouds moved out. I checked over at weather.com using 37919 as the zip code and they say there’s a 60% chance of storms tomorrow.
But check tomorrow, because what’s 60% today could be 20% or 90% tomorrow - and our weather here can be completely different from what y’all have 100 miles south.
punha and I might be showing a bit late. I’m getting my first tattoo tomorrow afternoon and we’re not sure how long it’ll take, but I’m guessing it’ll be a good chunk of the afternoon since it’s a fairly detailed piece. After that we’ve got an hour drive back home and then 2 and a half hours to Knoxville. Who knows when we’ll be there, but we’ll be there!
Unless of course I’m the victim of some freak tattooing accident or something.
I called Bailey’s and they said there should be little problem getting a table for that many people at 7:00-ish.
I’m also on my way to Office Depot to pick up some nametags.
