Actually it’s her new recumbent trike, back in the shop for some adjustments. :o But it’s her second bike/trike, and been riding the other one regularly. And nothing wrong with recumbents - I have a recumbent trike of my own, albeit a somewhat more sporty model. And a recumbent tandem bike which is what we rode yesterday. We had nice ride.
A recumbent tandem. There’s something I don’t see everyday. I bet it’s a lot of fun going uphill!!
Well, it appears she’s in her mid 40s, about 15 years difference. I agree age shouldn’t matter, but it’s hard not to wonder what my friends and family would think, etc. I’m disappointed in myself for thinking that, but still…
Recumbent tandems are a lot of fun, by the way. It’s a bit unnerving to control, and tight turns are tricky with a 10-ft long bike, but we both get a great view of the scenery. I wish I could afford a recumbent tandem trike though.
