About 20 years ago I read that actress Liv Ullman was arrested for drunk driving or hit-and-run–I forget which. And she killed someone. According to this (forgotten :() source, the judge let her off ‘lest the emotional pain spoil her career’ or some such thing. Is this correct? And if it is, how dare a judge thus excuse a killer?
