yeah - but isn’t “pain and suffering” part of the job description?
I must be old. My first thought was “No way am I getting by on $25k a year”.
I’m sure you could come up with a way to stretch your budget.
But if that poor lady has been doing this for years she is probably already in the hole.
heh… reminded me of Top Secret:
Apparently, he didn’t realize that in Germany, we use 220-volt currents. It took us 30 minutes just to get the smile off of his face
You’re forgetting “loss of use”. ![]()
Yeah, lets see the actuaries calculate that dollar figure out:
“She’s blonde… 26… non-smoker… and can’t use her hoo-ha. Use the chart on page 46?”

Eventually, it was like throwing a hot dog down the hallway -

…
I think I mentioned this once before…I was walking down the hallway at an old job with a good friend of mine…
Friend: I just heard about the best job!
Me: Blowjob tester?
Friend: <speechless>
And of course, I have to ask: What is the difference between a Republican and a vibrator?
The Republican is a real dick
I did think it was odd that that said she “rakes in” $25k per year. I don’t know at what point income requires a rake, but I’m sure it’s somewhere over the poverty line.
I thought the same thing- but I wondered, as it is a UK-based story, whether they failed to convert that from Pounds. If so, $40k is nothing to sneeze at.
She’s also not single, and it’s implied that her partner also works. Even 25k USD isn’t too bad for a second income.
And the picture in the article is making use of forced perspective, same as that famous picture of the camel spiders. The toys aren’t as big as they look.
If as said above its 7 hours a week, that’s pretty damn good.
Well she could triple her income if she set up a web cam site.
I’ve never read this particular woman’s site, but I have read several similar review sites and they’re often VERY sensitive to this exact issue. They generally try to objectively review the quality and design, not merely whether it pushes their particular buttons. Some are very adept at this. Some toys have genuine design problems, some have materials issues, and some will only work for people with specific anatomical layouts, and the best reviewers are very good at pointing this stuff out.
I agree, but it appears she is getting off on $25K a year.
Wouldn’t her body become desensitized to the stimulus’s like vibrations after awhile so they would require stronger settings?

Let’s see now. $25,000 a year at 15 orgasms a week… that calculates to… Help me Dopers, help me.
My favorite line from the link:
Would this fall under occupational hazard? Are there OSHA regulations regarding such dangers? There are lots of occupations that use equipment that vibrates who might experience this phenomenon. Including guys who operate, coincidentally, industrial vibrators.
