I have an old 80’s song stuck in my head.

‘I was only dreaming,
I was only trying to catch your eye.
I was only wishing you would notice me,
instead you said goodbye.’

Now, is it by the same band that sings this song?

‘I touch you once,
I touch you twice,
I won’t let go at any price…’

If so, who is it by? Nobody ever seems to know the song I’m talking about. I didn’t think it was that obscure…

‘When I feel friendship for you, I am ashamed.’

Not too sure of the first one but the second is OMD, or Orchestral Manuevers in the Dark.

The song was a big hit after being on the Pretty in Pink soundtrack. (My all-time fave 80’s movie BTW).

I am not deliciously saucy.

The first song is “Dreaming”, also by OMD.
