Isn't it about time for new Superman movie?

I think so!

Who plays Superman?

So many decisions. What would make a good Superman movie script?

Start again with the origin, or brush by it quick?

Buffoonish, campy villans or heart attack serious?

Do you make a it a meta human/superhero populated world re Justice League etc., or is he the only super being?

Er.

Bryan Singer is way ahead of you.

He directed the X-Men movies, this could be good…

And Brandon Routh looks like a young Christopher Reeve–this could definitely be good. (At least they didn’t get Tom Welling!)

I don’t know… he looks more like one of the Sopranos gang

Now I’m getting eerie visions of a Superman / Sopranos crossover…

I still say he looks like a young Chris Reeve, and I stick to it!

Bruce Campbell’s Got the Chin, but people might not be able to take him seriously in the role.

I have some high hopes, because it would be pretty damn hard to make a worse superman then “The Quest For Peace”.

Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Holy Crap!

I’m OLDER than Superman!
This makes no sense This makes no sense This makes no sense This makes no sense This makes no sense

O.K. I’m older than Tom Welling too, but at least he’s supposed to be the teenaged Clark Kent. Interestingly enough, Tom Welling is also older than Brandon Routh. Anybody know what they’re going for, story-wise, that they would have cast someone so young?

He’ll be 26 when the movie comes out.

Christopher Reeve was born in 1952. Guess how old he was when he first played Superman?

23 years older than me! That’s all that matters!

About the same age Superman was when he started his carreer.

(He’s in his 30s, now…he started about 10 years ago in-continuity.)

For years, Bruce Campbell was my top choice to play Superman. He can do the action hero thing, he has the perfect look, and he’d be great as a meek, mild-mannered Clark Kent too.

I love Bruce Campbell, but he’s way too old to play Superman now.
