The post isn’t clear about who has a problem and the circumstances in which it was picked up. But if we’re talking about a possible STD, there’s only one answer.
Get tested. Inform the people you’ve been fucking that they should get tested. The end. You don’t want to have that stuff spreading around because you’re coyly dancing around the subject and calling it a “sweater”.
And if you caught something from a partner who’s been cheating on you, I would recommend ending the partnership, but that’s just me.

I’m going to second Antigen’s ire at this use of coy euphemisms. You’re old enough to be putting a penis into a vagina, you’re old enough to speak to the owners of said organs frankly about the fact that one of you has an STD, and take appropriate precautions.

Of course, there are other reasons for the burning. A yeast infection, small abbrasions from a vigorous session, etc. If it is indeed an STD, it could very well be manifesting noticable symptoms for the first time even though you’d actually acquired it quite a while ago.
