It isn't easy being green in the MMP

I had a spinach and mushroom calzone - not bad, considering I didn’t have to cook or clean.

Pretzels are yum!!

Knittage will begin soon. Tonight will be heavy on the vegetating.

I hate my sinuses. That is all.

OYKW has been cooked?

Midget, you made me giggle!

Waiting to go onstage in Wilkes Barre/Plains PA

Twas truly a good time last night

I am beyond tired and have a six hour drive to Richmond VA tomorrow

Cheers

Ugh.

Drunk wimmin on hen nights are not fun to deal with, especially when part of your job involves getting them to keep quiet. Just did security for two shows back to back, with barely enough time to clear the place between, plus some bit of stage machinery jammed in the first show, so there was freakin’ chaos and everything was running late, then I got put on the top (aka cheapest) floor, which had roughly 20% drunken eejits with the other 80% being people who never normally go to shows, so were treating it as a real special occasion which they did not wish to be ruined by drunk loud people.

As you can imagine, this is not a great combo, especially when the eejits are at the centre of a row where you can’t get to them.

On feet for 6.5 hours without any break (plus half an hour waiting for the bus home), and am now in process of becoming slightly drnuk in own right, before bed. Glad I’m off Oop North tomorrow, or I’d be doing a repeat of the shift with a shiny new crop of eejits.

The show wasn’t bad though.

I worked, I came home. I ate steak. Beerverages then bed.

My sleep cycle is all messed up. :frowning:

Sorry, rosie. :frowning:

We never thought it would end like this.

Nuts, I can’t stand hen parties, either.

So far I’m feeling better today. We’ll see what happens as the day progresses. The pounding sinus headache is gone, though.

I’ve had a mini cold all week. Now that the weekend is here it’s decided to hit me full force. Next week is the job fair for education majors with 75 school districts represented and I have a billion more things to do to get ready and all I feel like doing is taking a bunch of cold medicine and staying in bed all weekend. :frowning:

Good morning.

Geez, I sure hope all the sickies get to feeling normal, again. Soon, even!

I’m up, and having some coffee. My husband made it home last night, after being OTR for three weeks. He’s got to head out on Monday morning, though. Not so bright, and early.

Today, there will be a couple of things taken care of around the house, and then we’ll be heading out to an early dinner with his parents. Then, back home to vegetate.

Have a good Saturday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. ‘Tis 57 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 and sunny. Nice! Sounds like a day to be out doin’ stuff, but plans are to vegetate at da cave with maybe a run into town if’n OYKW decides he really needs to do so.

Just so y’all know, the only time OYKW has been cooked to my knowledge is when he stayed too long out at the cee-mint pond without re-applyin’ sunscreen two years ago. He was, however, nice and baked. Fork tender even. The upside is now he listens when told it’s time to put on more sunscreen.

StickyBuns, Spaz and other sickies, feel better soonest.

Nuts seems to me the most obnoxious of drunks are usually wimmen. That may sound sexist but that’s pretty much always been my observation. Y’all may now berate me.

Ok, I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. I suppose I should purtify as in make myself somewhat presentable even if’n I don’t go anywhere today. I’m sure OYKW would appreciate the eye candy.

ETA: Ace yay for hubby bein’ home!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

I didn’t go to bed as early as I’d planned - Oliver! was on TCM and it didn’t end till nearly 10:30. But I was all tucked in a little after 11 and didn’t get up till 7, so there’s that.

It’s very windy but mild out - I expect I’ll start getting grubby in a few hours. We’ll see how that day goes. Other than that, no plans. Indecision is the key to flexibility, you know!

Happy Saturday!

I did the obligatory dog chore yesterday, and was both amazed and appalled at the same time at how much 2 Boxers can leave over a winter.

Hooray!

My mom has taken pity on me seeing as I seem to have pulled a muscle in my back while coughing and she’s making breakfast for me.

I suppose I should get dressed and go do something, but I sure don’t feel like it. I’m starting off easy - I’m going to ride the mower around and mulch up the few remaining leaves on the ground. If I can stay motivated, I’ll attempt to put down the pavers. Once I get started, I’m usually good for a few hours. It’s just tough getting started this morning. Probably because it’s overcast. Overcast is demotivating.

It’s so difficult being me!!

Well, I just had my audition for the allergy club, except… they were a bit confused why I got referred to them, not the dermatology allergy service, seeing as, you know, it’s probably a dermatological allergy, whereas the clinic I just went to mostly deals with food allergies, and it’s unlikely their tests will pick up anything. They took some blood out anyway (I always feel a doctor isn’t really happy unless they get some of your blood) and they’re referring me on, but I have no idea how long the wait to see the next clinic will be.

Oh well, they can test for some stuff so they might pick something up, and at least they were dead quick, so I’m in plenty of time for my train. Happy sattiday!

I’m dressed, I just filled out a deposit to be mailed to our credit union in Jacksonville, and I’m about to venture forth into the yard. That’s something, I suppose…
