home, tired and hurting. Round two tomorrow.

{{{{Mom}}}}. I know how you feel. The zoo will get extra hugs tonight.
Haze, I’d drop him like a leaking diaper.

:: hugs :: I hope you get a good night’s sleep at least.
Speaking of which … :: jaw-cracking yawn ::
I totally forgot…It’s New Year’s Eve again! Russian New Year, so at midnight there will be another bout of firecrackers and gunfire, yippee skippee! Anyway, Happy New Year, again!
I keep going and lying down, and then getting up and fussing. I guess some lying down is better than none.
One hour till we leave for the hospital.
Good luck,** Lili**!!
Don’t worry li-li, everything is going to be fine, and you will be amazed at how wonderful your baby is, how much you love your husband (after the baby is out
) and how light you feel…after the baby is out. And because I know that it means something to you, all of you are in my prayers already, and will be until I hear that you have delivered and all is well. God bless you, Mr. Lissar and the babe.
It’s so exciting!!!
Chin up LiLi! You will be fine. And I have no doubt that you and Mr Lissar will be fantastic parents! We are all praying for you!
Hang in there Li-Li, it’s all going to be fine. Frankly, none of us parents had a freakin’ clue when it came time to bring the first baby home. Hell, eighteen years later, I still feel like I’m winging it. We all do the best we can at the time, that’s what matters.
I am Croaky McCroaky. Geeze, I sound like that froggy kid.
I’m tired, yet again, but can’t seem to lie down and sleep.
Good thoughts and prayers headed your way, LiLi for a smooth, easy, and fast delivery! I know you’re going to have the most beautiful baby in the world (even if he does look like Winston Churchill – hey, they all do!), and you guys are going to be wonderful parents!
I’m off to beddy-bye myself now, too. I’ve continued to struggle with this work all evening, and finally managed to get a bit done; but tomorrow morning comes all too soon, so I’m quitting for the night even though I could probably do another hour. The question is, could the dogs wait another hour in the morning for breakfast or, more importantly, a trip to the back yard? I doubt it!
Too many people who need cheering up. Let’s see if I can make a proper list without forgetting anybody…
First – {…∞…{McUne}…∞…}. Beyond doubt the most serious thing we’re hearing about right now. It is important on so many levels to get that bastard’s ass! :mad:
also, {{{{Haze}}}}
Quoted for truth. Better said than I ever could. Good luck figuring out what it is that will work best for you, and following through with it.
Finally, one more special hug for {{FCM}}.
More of a group hug for {{MsPearl}} and the washing machine woes; {{Rosie, Swampy, Taters… }} with Teh Sick, and
a whole slew of people just having that general off day… Doggie, Rigs, ems… who else have I forgotten?
But there are happy things going on, too
Props to **Sean **and **GT **for the raises.
By this time, ***TNC ***may be making his appearence – Mazel Tov, Lili, if so!
**Cutie **and **Shadow **-- seems you had pretty good, even if not great, days, too. Keep them coming!
Hi!! **Nava **and Spaz. **Snakes **still seems to be MIA somewhere in job-land… if you’re reading this, a big wave and a “hi!” to you as well.
Anyone I haven’t mentioned – be thankful; it means you seem to be doing OK right now…
Me, I’m just watching the night shift, making sure the pipes don’t freeze up here while all the 'Merkins sleep
ahem
Looks like the whole of the MMP needs hugs today, I won’t name everyone personally 'cos I’m likely to cause offence by missing someone out…but you can all have some hugs and chocolate. Never too early for chocolate, is it?
LiLi, I’m no great lover of babies (or kids in general, come to think of it) but even I’m looking forward to finally seeing tnc. Must be something in the water, you think?
Other than that, I’m overloaded with work and everything on my desk has today as a deadline. That’s what happens when your team of six becomes a team of one. And pay rises? Haven’t seen one of those in the last three years and am unlikely to see one this year either since the Uni changed their pay review processes and the new system doesn’t really kick in until April.
OK then. You get a special hug because I forgot you earlier. And because I want to
{{{Boo}}}
Of course you want to, Nooner, I’m special! My mum says so.
::Checks username:: Hey, I’m Special too!
This means that either
I didn’t ask for clarification in case what she really meant was “Sunshine Variety Bus special”. If we were related, that would be quite interesting if we started working out how that could have happened!
Yes, I was afraid option 1 was a likely answer :eek:
I’ve heard told, however, that the Intellectually Challenged tend to engage in more, um, breeding activities than the Intellectually Endowed
… Which makes me glad we’re not related
(Whoops, Taters… looks like somebody has been into your drink!
::hiccup:::))
In my case it would breeding activities without the breeding part at the end of it! I’m fortunate to have absolutely no maternal instincts whatsoever so I get all the fun and none of the stress.
Hey! Knock off all the fun and naughtiness around here. :mad:
Unless you’re going to include me.
Boo, I completely agree about skipping the actual breeding part (says the adoring father of three :rolleyes:
– three are enough, though!)
So, are we on?
Morning, Cutie!
Well, I certainly wouldn’t exclude you…

Morning Noonie and BooFae!
