TGIF!!! It has been a busy, busy week and my brain is almost fried. I definitely need the weekend to recover.
I made an executive decision - we’re going out to dinner. Don’t know where, but we’re going out. Heck, I’d be OK with pizza delivery - I just don’t feel like cooking. Not sure what I’m in the mood for - there are 2 new Mexican places but **FCD **hasn’t wanted Messican food lately. I wish we had a good Chinese place. We’ll figger something out.

Our cable company has gradually been converting everything to digital, so the old CRT set in the basement gets fewer and fewer channels. We’re going to look at small digital TVs to replace the one in the shop - actually, it’ll replace the one in the bedroom, and the one in the bedroom will go in the basement. I think we’ll run by BestBuy after supper. Yeah, we know how to whoop it up on a Firday evening!!
You’ll do better, price-wise & quality-wise, if you go to CostCo. That’s where I got my 32"-er

Apart from CostCo not being very convenient to us, I have a problem with having to pay for the privilege of shopping somewhere. We had a BJ’s membership, and I found that for the most part, their prices were comparable to local store sales prices - at least on groceries. And by the time we pay for a membership and the gas for a 50+ mile round trip, I’m not sure it’ll be worth it to me.
Plus I looked on their website, and they didn’t show any 19" sets, which is what we want. Honestly, I don’t get the appeal of shopping in warehouses.

Wireless may be wonderful, but I just dumped my wireless keyboard for a USB model. The wireless one kept going to sleep, forcing me to back up after I started typing something. This, however, is the first thing I’m typing on my new keyboard - yay!!
We also got a new TV - turns out the one in the bedroom was 25" rather than 19". We got a 29" for the bedroom - it’s internet ready - and the smaller one plus the Roku will go down the my sweetie’s workshop. Tomorrow. We’re not going to mess with it tonight.
Supper was a Red Robin. Now we’re home and in the veg mode. Yay!
