It's a New Traditions MMP

N.O.T. is MMP for potatoes, meaning Not Our Taters. We’re nice and we wouldn’t mash her.

I think it’s addressed in the MMP FAQ thread, along with other oddities.

<shakes fist at BBBobbio>

True or false: I got drunk at the office Christmas party today. yayaaay! haha

I’ll probably feel better in the morning. I hope. haha

N.O.T means regular potatoes “Taters” we have our own Taters as a Fellow Mumper. We need a list, we are confusing both Newbies and Vets of the MMP.

Does potato need an E to be plural? I remember the Dan Q thingy and since have never been able to get it right.

MOOOOOOOOM I have been pondering your day plan back in 83’…

Start day

What uniform do I wear?

Go to IRK, salute and IRK

Leave base, Get Married, Mickey D’s

Court Martial

:eek:Wedding Night:eek:

Do you have a Day Planner or sumpin’?

IOW tell us (who haven’t heard it, the rest of ya’ll shush) a story, of young love, nay, scandalous love and the court room drama that followed.

Also, why Mickey D’s?

C’mon give it up

Why did that statement seem highly inappropriate

::taps foot::

Jim

Irk did not blurf me. The hockey tonight…grrrr.

Yay for getting bone, gotti! <snerk>

Don, my favorite Christmas movies to watch are the Doctor Who Christmas specials.

Cool about the tree VBob. But do you have a Festivus Pole?

You have my best wishes, Emily.
I used to work at a place where you could get drunk at the Christmas party. :frowning:

Thanks muchly! Of course that makes perfect sense. Though I don’t post in the MMP much, I thought I lurked enough. Clearly not. Going home from a short day at work now, thinking of what to get from the store for dindin. Actually thinking of corn and n.o.t., 'cause I’m supposed to still be on a kind of bland diet for a couple more days.

Blurfity blurf.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 37 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 61 for the day. This is normal weather for this time of year down heah. Oh and it shall be sunny.

flytrap MOOOOOOM and FCD have class. They didn’t go through the drive thru at MickeyD’s. They went inside and had a proper post-nuptial sit down luncheon.

Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Hump Day Y’all! Just. Does. Not. Get. Old.

Holy freaking crap. I thought I had my drinking under control. But my having been violently sick a few times today seems to suggest otherwise. :frowning:

I have seriously got to stop drinking completely. I’ve ended up out of control way too many times. It’s something I should’ve done a long time ago.

I’m such an idiot. :frowning:

Of course not. That’s the holiday for the *rest of us!
*

Morning all,

Work related Holiday party one of three (Mine-Contract Company) is this evening. The other two are Saturday (Mine-Military Command I work for) and Sunday(His Contract Company) respectively. I really hate when I sleep badly the night before I must be socially aware. Makes it that much harder to keep a smile plastered on my face when I would rather be home relaxing/not dealing with co-irkers who either I see for 10 hours a day or twice a year.

It was so cold this morning that Mr. Jynxster’s car doors froze shut. It was 75 degrees here last week. I don’t get it.

While I’ve never seen the original episode, I too went to see Rifftrax last week, and I totally watched Santa Claus on Sunday. I was also insulating my bedroom windows at the time, but it was at least on the television.

I thought it was Thursday this morning. I am upset.

b.l.u.r.f.

That would depend on one’s tastes and whether quotes are involved.

Off today, it’s quite cold out.

Fava beans and a nice Chianti?:dubious:

{{{{Midget}}}}

No, canine servant: eating vs “eating” and which way one swings.

First one here to deliver me a piping hot cuppa caffeination wins a dollar.

Ok, go!

I happen to have a 10 foot Pole AND an 11 foot Hungarian.

Happy Hump Day!

It’s a frigid 28 degrees with a high of 34, but the sun is shining and the roads are clear.

I have to go walk piddlepup today and tomorrow - brrrrrrr!

I’ve not even been up an hour and I’m already irritated.

I just realized the irony, or the curious similarity between species.

Our dog is getting on in years, has arthritis and at about the same time as my big surgery in July, she had a knee surgery to replace a blown ligament. Yes, I know the joint is properly called a stifle, but to most people, “stifle” was something Archie Bunker yelled at Edith. She was on tramadol (aka ultram) for a while, and is now on gabapentin (aka neurontin).

After my surgery, and after the heavy narcotics, I was on tramadol, and now I’m going to be on gabapentin.

I just find it striking that two rather different mammalian species have similar enough physiology that we can both use the same medications for the same purpose.

At least I don’t need the xanax that she gets whenever fireworks or thunder is happening. That dog is seriously skittish with loud bangs, and even the beeping of a UPS will make her go bonkers. There’s something in the particular tone that APC uses, I guess, as the everyday beeping of the stove, microwave, printers, phones, etc. doesn’t bother her.
