It's a New Traditions MMP

It’s so quiet right now. Can’t believe how quiet it is. Nobody in the break room all mornin’ long. No sounds from the cube farm just down the hall. Maybe I should go look. Maybe there’s an ax murderer on the loose who doesn’t know about my little slice of heaven here on the backside of the orifice buildin’. Maybe they’ve all been tied to their chairs and gagged while thieves rummage through wallets and purses. Or, maybe there’s sump’n particularly good on fb and they’re all fascinated by it all.

Yeah, I’m bored.

What? you’re here too?

taking one last shot at trying to help you, THIS thread may be of some relevance in your situation. After that I give up.

Wow! Stop the presses!! It’s only 68 Murkin degrees here right now! Won’t somebody think of the children? Seriously, though, this may be as close as we get to a cold snap for a while.

How come there’s no Lokiday? I think he’s kinda cute and sexy in a bad-boy way. could we just change Friday to Lokiday? But not Satiday cause then the bear would have to figure out a way to say it southron.

Congrats, mom on Higgs being svelte. She is so freakin’ cute! It’s hard not to give them everything they want.

Foo Foo Dog can now sit, lie down, stay, roll over, gimme paw, and dance pretty. What should I teach her next? Maybe save Timmy from the well?

Home early-ish today. I passed on the gym because I’m developing shin splints and I’d rather not help then grow. So I dropped off the last batch of towels and 2 hats at the store and came home. We’re going out to eat - **FCD **has a hankerin’ for chili. No idea where we’ll go - we’ll discuss after he gets out of the shower.

And I’m so glad tomorrow’s Firday. This has been a busy week and I’s tahred. Of course, I have a busy weekend planned, so I’ll get tahred from that too. But at least I can be tahred without the commute!

Happy Thursday! Send chocolate!!!

I have to assume the silence means everyone is out shopping for chocolate love offerings for me.

We went to Texas Roadhouse and now we’re back. And that brings you up to date on my life.

I bought two bags of mixed nuts for my fruit cake.
I cam send you one for a reasonable delivery fee.

I have chocolate to share.

I had a psot but it got gobbled up. That is happening a lot lately.

Since when do mixed nuts = chocolate???

**sari **- we can meet halfway between your place and mine… or I could just go to the store and buy my own damned chocolate. Again. <sigh>

I have too much chocolate.

Midget, you’re wrong - there’s no such thing as too much chocolate. Silly girl! :stuck_out_tongue:

There is when you’ve gotten overweight from eating too much chocolate, like me.

It is Fruit Cake.
Marvelous, wondrous fruitcake.

Too much chawklit makes as little sense as too much tp.

Howdy Y’all! I’ve been a sorta bzzy bear. After irk I came home to da cave and fried chikin strips, made smashed N.OTL and green beans cause MOG and Baby Girl came to have dindin. We also gave BG her Crimmus present. She got a pair of Minnie Mouse footie pjs (she lurves MM), a puzzle, a colorin’ box with a biiiiiig box of crayons and, of course, candy. Then we went to Mae’s visitation over to the funeral home. The funeral is tomorrow at one o’ clock p.m. Neither of us will attend bein’ as it’s durin’ irk time. Besides, after that she will be buried in a little town 50 miles away and neither of us wants to do that, so we figured makin’ an appearance at the visitation sufficed.

MOOOOOOM yay for a good Higgs checkup!

Ok, off to surf around and such. I’s tahrd!

One can never have too many fruit cakes this time of year. In the event there is a power outage you can use them to build an igloo to keep warm.

Once somebody gave me half a fruitcake to give to my mom. I forgot it on the front seat of the car and that night when I went to deliver my papers I put four bundles on top of the fruit cake.
Then I remember the fruit cake was on the seat.
I figured my mother could crumble what was left of it and eat it over ice cream.

Not to worry, 80 pounds of newspaper didn’t even put a dent in the fruitcake.

Irked, walked the dog, waiting for hockey to start.

You sir, are mentally deranged. See therapy.

I killed the MMP. :frowning:

I’ll revive it.

[Frakenstein]IT’S ALIVE! ALLIIIVVVEEEE![/Frankenstein]

^^^ BEST idea! I’d like to just get consumables or replacements or something, no need for knicks and knacks.
This year we’re going to hit Eataly before the Christkindlmarket, instead of the French Market. I’m excited about exploring that place and may make it a regular stop every couple months for treats. A couple other friends have already gone and loved it.

The Kindlemarket, you have to know the layout to stick with the genuine booths. The peripheral booths are other countries than Germany, but the booths closest to the food court and tree are the core family booths that are there every year. The woodworkers and glassmakers are the real deal, as is the honey booth, and the big ornament shops. Get out to the periphery and find a couple of local people, plus the imported knit stuff from Scotland, Himalayas, and Peru. Plus whatever other countries in a particular year’s offerings. I stick to the core booths, and have to get the honey and some candy.

Horse maneuvers!
