didja make the cookies yet?
Here it is - the cutest puppy you’ll see all day.
Just thought I’d post that here.
Home, tahred, TGIF!!!
We’re going to Salsa’s for supper because I don’t feel like cooking. In fact, as soon as we feed Higgs, we’ll go. Then home to crash.
Missy Prissy is a real piece of work. She told me the reason she got into drafting was she started out studying to be an architect - so she could build decks and sheds… I am so glad I don’t share an office with her…
Happy Firday!!! <headdesk>
Cookie bakin’, if it commences, shall be tomorrow Rosie. Supposed to be a rainy/stormy day so it’d be a good day to bake cookies.
Da cave is smellin’ all lasagna yummerific! Makin’ me hongry!
Well, the round trip and work went fine. Nearly 60 here, and projected highs in the next few days as high as 67. Still in the 30s overnight, though, with the next two nights projected below freezing.
Rosie would never give her reindeer treif.
Bert’s instead of Salsa’s - no biggie - we’re fed and I didn’t have to cook. So yay. Sluggage to follow.
My sister and I had Pizza Pizza pizza for supper. (Pizza Pizza is a local pizza restaurant.)
Lasagna was teh nummiest! I done good!
Midget et pizza and we had lasagna. It’s Eyetalian night in the MMP!
Aw, such the cutest puppy.
I stopped by to see (former) Night Audit Lady this afternoon and we had a nice long gossip. I’m going back up there Monday so her husband, the Know A Car Guy can fix my O2 sensor and so I can give her one of the recycled bags I’ve made.
I’m tired so I shall fritter away my evening after supper.
Time to assume the knit position. MWAH!!!
Trundled over to a nearby Mexican place for nachos. Not the best choice financially or nutritionally, I’m sure, but I had a craving.
Cooked a pork shoulder roast the other night. Leftovers for days! About a three pound roast, straight from the freezer, dumped it in a dutch oven, poured a bottle of hard cider in, a little bourbon, a rough-chopped onion, then schmeared some olive oil on top, salt, pepper, ginger, and brown sugar. Cooked for several hours at 250F. Made boiled taters (n.o.t.!) then mashed them chunky style with butter and cream cheese, with a ladle of the onion-pork-cider drippings. Corn and peas on the side (or, really, mixed in with the taters).
Om Nom! Plus, I would consider that a pretty fatty meal, one week post-gallbladder removal, and digestion was just fine! Woot!
Lots of yummy drippings leftover. Thinking of maybe lentil soup so as not to waste it.
I’ve been away from Unix long enough at work to make mucking around with the icky internals of a Mac challenging. The file structure on my old Mac got bollixed so badly that it wouldn’t even give me a Sad Mac or any boot options to repair. I had to dismantle the computer (Only 73 easy steps!) to remove the drive and stick it into an external dock on the new Mac so I can do my sorcery.
About ready to call it a night as it’s really easy to do Bad Things, and they’re often Irreversibly And Really Bad Things in Unix when you’re working as root.
Work was busy. Roomie’s out, so I made Bachelor Food, Asian style(Wednesday was Eyetalian night. :p)
Cute pup. Midget.
Too bad Windows users don’t realize that.
Mumpers,
I am tired, beaten up and a little sick. I am staying home and experimenting with ethanol therapy. I made “Heartburn Ravioli” (Spicy Sausage Ravis and Hot Peppers in the sauce). The Eyetalians win tonight and one nostril now works, so there
Midget That is a damned cute puppy. I presume it is not yours?
Tomorrow is “Watch guys (gals?) beat the ever living tar out of each other day”. Yes kids the Grande Casa de Rock has MMA bouts tomorrow.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.
Happy Saturday!
It’s cold, 31 degrees. It’s going to get all the way up to 38 today, anything above 32 works for me.
