I got my copy of Along Came A Spider when it came out. I kinda wasn’t impressed at first listen either but after putting it aside for a while, I tried again a few weeks ago. I found it grows on you. Vengance is a pretty good rocker and I like parts of Feminine Side too. Killed By Love is probably the one that’ll stick though. I’m a bit of a sucker for ballads (Especially Dwight Frye!)
Oh and Alice is on record as saying he really doesn’t think of himself as Vince Furnier anymore. His wife and close friends call him Coop and Alice is fine for everyone else. The only one that gets away with “Vince” is his mom. As he tells it, she either calls him that or “Hey Rockstar, take out the garbage!”
Heh. It’s not like it’s him I’m paying attention to anyway. Nobody is hotter, now or ever in my humble opinion, than Master Alice. I was almost tempted to post “Osmond who?”
