Moxie ran down the road to me. “Hey. Mr. Plant, haven’t seen you in a long time! How you doing?” and jumped up and down in joy.
My supper was a couple of 'mater sammiches. **FCD **didn’t want a meal, so it was easy. And Yum!!!
He’s taking off work till next Weds, I’ll still work the next 2 days so I can be off when the heat and humidity hit big time. Smart, huh? Stoopit weather.

Howdy Y’all! We’re back from chowin’ down on not too shabby Chinese [del]hog trough[/del] buffet. Made a stop by the Harvey’s Sto’ there to pick up two more boxes of Big Boy ice cream bars while they are still bogo free. I have much chikin and ribs thawin’ in da laundry room fridge. Smokeage shall ensue on Thursday I have decided. I feel tahrd but really have not done anything all that strenuous today. Tomorrow is yahd day and that shall be a lot more strenuous. TWPTB say rain Thursday, Firday, and Sattidy. We shall see.
ETA: sunny yay for new puppeh!
I am buying ice cream today too! Taking hubby to the airport shuttle and buying ice cream on the way home. Yes - things get crazy when adult supervision is gone.

To answer the OP, of all of the things that I suck at, dancing is probably the biggest. I’m OK with basic choreographed stuff like the polka and square dancing and I have rhythm enough to play percussion, but to coordinate my feet to music that I’m not playing, I wipe out.

The day is a secret above my pay-grade (everything in the company is above MY pay grade) but it will fall between the 10th and 15th. Betting money has it as the 10th or 12th. Our pseudo-anniversary is the 16th and they always want to get it over before that.

Thanks for the cheerup. I had some seriously stupid calls today, and the train ride home was highly irritating, “thanks” to the bozo who was certain that the entire train car NEEDED to hear HIS choice of “music” being blared through a crappy phone speaker. I was sitting 15 feet or more away and had to turn my earphones up to borderline-uncomfortable! Also annoyed with train driver who exited her cubicle several times to deal with loading ramp passengers and totally failed to address the general nuisance.
