Howdy Y’all! I declare that I have domesticated enough for one day. Everything is done, put away in it’s appropriate place and the kitchen is cleanded. If’n it didn’t look like it might storm soon I’d have quality time at the cee-mint time. However, 'tis nice and cool here in da cave so that’s also a plus.
Love may conquer all but it don’t pay the 'lectric bill.
I just had a chance to be a total and complete bitch and boy did it feel good. One of our largest vendors of boating trips, a company which shall remain nameless, told my clerk that they could not honor our pricing due to the holiday. Uh No. We have a contract. I pay your company tens of thousands of dollars a month and just no. I did a poison telephone call and made threats to stop selling their trips forever and boy did their tune change immediately. I am usually very nice but I did not hold back here at all. I needed a release.
It’s a cloudy 90 degrees outside. I don’t know what it feels like since I haven’t so much as stuck my head out the door today.
It’s supposed to rain tomorrow.
One bad thing about no longer having a dog is that I can go most days without ever opening the door.
I wanted to get a bit of yard work done today but that is not happening.
I got a little laundry done.
Congrats on the adorable bundle of fluff Sunny
I am not good at names, but I think she looks like an Iris more than a Daffodil.
Congrats on the equine overlord WetOne.
Good Luck with getting a new car Doggio
Be careful** Alien**, isn’t 55 rather low?
Congrats on a new SIL FCM
Quite often I want to poke at the cat when he is sleeping, and eating.
He’s a dumb ass. Yesterday I opened the blinds without opening the windows and he tried to jump up into the window sill. Silly boy smacked into the window and fell on his butt.
I finally got rid of the boat and they are coming to get it tomorrow.
I hope.
I should warn them that if they are using GPS, they will probably get bad directions and get sent over to Funkstown. I can talk them over to this side of town, but it’s a pain because I don’t know any street names, just landmarks like the yellow house with the purple shutters.
Butters, sometimes it just works to be a bitch. I used to feel sorry for the recipients of my bitchiness, but now I figure if you are stupid enough to invoke my inner bitch, well it just wouldn’t be right for me to deny you the experience.
Majik intartoobz pizza has been ordered. I had a 'nanner to stave off starvation until it shows up in about an hour when OYKW will bring it in the door. I made a green sallit so we can say it’s all healthy.
We have retrieved little Pixel. He has serious issues poor boy, but doesn’t seem to know it. He’s down to just his front teeth and has a crack in his jaw. No hard food or chewing until the vet says so. He was happy to see us and 'Beamer was happy to see him.
Pizza and sallit have been ingested. it’s been rainy for the past two and a half hours. Not that I’m complainin’. Tomorrow is supposed to be a non-rainy day which is what I want cause of quality cee-mint pond time.
{{{Pixel}}} poor baby! Feel better soonest. Sounds like Beamer has really bonded with that chee-hoo-ah-hoo-ah.
We are not going to make it to Jacks visitation. It isn’t until late Sunday and Sr is Sunday afternoon. So we’re going to the convent and sending the money the trip would have cost us as a donation to Jack’s church. I think he appreciates it and understands.
I irked late to make up for being late. It is amazing how much one can get done when the office is closed. I just got home a smidge after ten PM and have the clock set for 5 and 6 am. Must get up, must get up. We are so blasted busy. Record numbers of tickets sold. Good thing I guess but this old already burned out girl is so over it.
Can it be mid August already please. All this work is cutting into my beer drinking time.
I managed to sleep till just before 6 with only one bladder call, so yay! But when I let Higgs out, I almost drowned from inhaling the mugginess. I’m pretty sure I’m not doing anything outside today. Especially since there are all kinds of rain threats.
**FCD **does want to move a work table from the basement to his shed, then move the tool box from the shed to the basement. We’ll use the cart and the mower to haul as much as we can, because uphill on the lawn is not a fun or easy way to carry anything, and neither of us is in shape to do that with the table, especially - it’s HEAVY!!! When he gets up, we’ll attack that chore.
Netflix entertained us yesterday - we finally got around to the next season of Sherlock - and it’s been out for ages!! We also watched a show about the beginnings of Apple and Microsoft and now I understand some of the Mac vs. PC hate. So, entertaining *and *educational!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out, cloudy, and muggy with a predicted high of 90 mostly cloudy but little chance of rain. I want to spend quality time at the cee-mint pond this afternoon and friends are comin’ over for that and to feast on ribs and bbq so hopefully there will be no rain. I shall purtify up in a bit and go get us McBizkits for brekkie cause for some reason I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for a chikin bizkit and MickeyD’s is the closest place to da cave.
doggio good luck with truck buyin’. I’ll need to do that within the next couple of years. I even have some money set aside for that purpose.
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
Now I need more caffeine. Then purtify I shall and go seek brekkie.
Blurfage Already at irk. I stopped by the coffee shop and there was a mama chicken with 10 tiny little chicks. So cute.
I have so much to do I must make a list and cross off as I go. That is after the pesky 0900-1300 block when I must be nice and meet the public. Thank God my best sales girl is coming to help me out.
Today starts the marathon A/P race. It’s only about $100K this month. Unreal.
Enjoy your weekend off Dooogioooo and good luck car/truck buying. Not a whole lot of fun in that IMO. It took me forever to make up my mind last time. I finally decided on a sensible, gas sipping Toyota Corolla which has served me well thus far. The only thing I have found wrong with it in almost 60K miles is a squeaky window which I can live with.
Inventory, credit card statement, fuel reports and maintenance are first up so off I go to it.
