It's freezonious in the MMP

ruble I have no idea what you just said. Something that goes boom, maybe?

Butters - I’m with you. I am so ready for this day to be over. Onwards to Wednesday. Whee?

Up. caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

And it’s another grand and glorious day in paradise. I may go get a couple of lottery tickets - one jackpot is around $500 million and the other is over $800 million. So why not?

Other than that, no big plans.

**Tugig **- that’s so sweet!!

MetalMouse - I just got an email telling me I need to check my Amazon account - and the link had a .cc domain address. yeah, sure, I’ll get right on that… I love the ones from companies telling me there’s a problem with my account, and I don’t have an account with them - got that, Chase??? :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Wednesday, all!

Happy Hump Day!

I got up too early, set my alarm for the wrong time.
So I hard boiled some eggs, cleaned up the pet feeding station, and put a load of clothes in the washer.

That is so sweet 2Gig.

Happy Moving Sunny!

Thanks for the reminder FCM, I think I willl get some tickets too.
I still want my Bugatti Veyron.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 71 Amurrkin out and clear (I see stars!) with a predicted high of 87 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Over the next few days we will see highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s. That’s Fall weather in these parts. I need to lay in a few provisions today. Shrimpies ‘n grits with some kind of vegetative matter shall be supped. Still waitin’ to hear back about the claim I filed with the insurance company. Not gonna get all bothered about it though cause I am sure State Farm and all insurance companies are overwhelmed with claims right now. Also, while there are still some without power, power has been restored to most of the area around here affected by Michael. Yay for that!

gigity sounds like ya done good!

WetOne sounds like some good therapy there.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, bother of bother, I suppose I should purtify and don goin’ about the public attire if’n I am to go to the Pubic Sto’. Life can be so hard!

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

Your kid is sweet, 2gig.

There’s no potable water at my workplace today. The city is replacing some sort of water pipe (sewage? storm drains? water main?) so we have no drinking water. We have some sort of water source hooked up so emergency eyewash stations in the shop still work, and the toilets still flush, but we aren’t allowed to drink it.

Which means no coffee.

I brought some from home, but it goes quickly. We had no water yesterday, and I had to make a Starbucks run halfway through the day. 10-hour work days are long. 10-hour work days with limited coffee are even longer…

I certainly hope not!!!

Daughter will be dropping by my office with Roxy - woohoo!!

I didn’t mean we aren’t allowed to drink the toilet water… we aren’t allowed to drink any water…

And here’s another example in my crusade against ambiguous pronouns.

Looks like it’s going to be a N.O.S. day with a high of 60.
I know y’all can’t get through the day without the western maryland weather report

Good day to hang out the clothes.

Roxy charming all the guys at the office is a good thing!

YouTube was down last night. I had to make do with 4chan.
Getting my YT fix this morning.

I know what you meant… Surely you’ve figured out by now that in the MMP, you never miss a chance to misinterpret something that can be funny.

Morning all. Up at 6:30 and working my way through the newspaper (hard copies only come to the door on Wed-Fri-Sun). Rain has finally stopped but still nice and wet outside. 53F heading for 69F, but then into the 40’s this evening.

Juliet, hope somebody brought (or will bring) bottled water in so you can at least make coffee; or hope the work is done by today.

FCM, babies always caused a work stoppage where I was; I imagine engineers will be no better.

Provisioning like swampy is doing is on the schedule, but first need to make myself presentable in public.

**MetalMouse **- since all but 1 of my coworkers are guys, I seriously doubt that they’ll care. But the receptionist will get a thrill, and I’ll get a break from my desk, so there’s that.

And a neighborly nod and wave back atcha!

Mr. Michael did visit, but only in the form of copious rain and middlin’ winds. Unlike other unwanted guests, he was gone by morning.

I don’t hate irk like I did yesterday. Today it is only mildly annoying.

& there was much :frowning: amongst the office canines.

This is my experience, too. The guys will look up at the commotion, maybe come over; however, the wimen will hang out & coo for minutes on end.
Tonight & tomorrer will be lows in the mid-30°s & tomorrow’s high is only forecast to be 50. Given it was 64° in the house this AM it looks like I may have to break down & turn the HVAC from “Off” to “Heat” for the season. :frowning:

Blurfage Irking again. Tis all I do. Not much going on today. I am doing an interview at 245PM to try to find me another girl that can help out on Sat.
Happy Hump Day!

Provisions have been layed in and shrimpies procured. I didn’t like the looks of the fresh spareguts, so have decided peas ‘n carrots (we eat a lot of that) shall be tonight’s vegetative matter. I need to do some stuff around da cave but for now have a big donwanna goin’ on so I shan’t for the nonce. I can do that.

I’m sure Roxstar will captivate everyone and there will be a complete work stoppage whilst she receives the adulation of her adorin’ fans.

I had asked my daughter to call when she got here. I had to run to the potty. Guess when she called?? But I’d told Baby Engineer so he answered my phone and it was all good.

Everyone was properly impressed with Roxy - Maria had to hold her. Brent and Josh insulted me, so it was a good visit. Now it’s a lunch break, which I definitely need.

The weather service is warning that the cold front will push through at about 1630–and trees may fall over.
Rah.

Alien, That sounds more like the Russian front than a weather one…

Food consumed and is happily digesting. Have done some soccer e-mailing for the weekend, may have practice tonight (if anybody shows up–it’s Fall Break here for the schools). The newspaper says Saturday will be clear, the Weather Underground shows rain almost guaranteed for Firday night/Saturday morning…we’ll see which one is right.
