It's freezonious in the MMP

Not much to report…other than a new page.

Update: I hate them again.

Nice and breezy outside, good day to hang out laundry.
If it were just a little bit warmer I’d open the windows.

I made deviled eggs. I used too much mayo so they are a bit runny, but they taste good and that is most important.

Most boring day today. I think I’ll vacuum.

This one is coming from the tundra, and the large temp difference means wind. Since it has been raining for the last three weeks, that means trees are having thoughts of falling over, since they still have leaves on them–which, by the by, are starting to turn colors.

The only good thing about fall is the Apple Cider Donuts.

Actually, this time — no. Although I guess I could blow it up at some point. Actually its a motorcycle like this one

that never got uncrated let alone ridden. We made the whole thing, crate and all, into a decoration/end table.
Other than that its cold and damp with just enough sun to make you think there are hopes for the day.

I opened the windows anyway.

It’s beyond breezy and downright windy.

Once this last load of laundry finishes I can go up, take a shower, and head out to buy the winning ticket.

Very cool.

Water is back! I’m debating if it’s too late for coffee…

Alien, mmm… apple cider donuts.

Didn’t feel like cooking, so my supper was a bowl of rice krispies. ugh. I don’t know what I want, but it wasn’t that.

Maybe I’ll make a PB&J later.

I fed Roxy some butternut squash followed by a small bottle. She’s a messy eater, but she has a good appetite. And she didn’t puke on me, so I count that as a win!

My dinner was a slice of pizza, Red Baron, and two deviled eggs. Or is it one deviled egg? Two halves.

Clothes are in. I have a load of shorts to be dried, debating throwing a few old pairs out instead of drying them.
I don’t know why I hold on to old clothes. I always think I can wear them around the house, but I can wear new ones around the house too. Then I don’t have to worry about looking like a homeless person if I go outside.

Don’t know if I am going to the funeral home tomorrow now. The neighbor said he plans on coming over to cut down the tree.

ruble, that’s a nice scoot too. It sounds like you and your cousin decorate in early American mancave. :stuck_out_tongue:

Juliet, my facility has a rooftop reservoir for emergency water outages, but planned ones are scheduled for the weekend when there aren’t as many people on premises, port-o-pots, hand sanitizer and bottled water are brought in.

sari, my neighbors see me in my PJs/around the house clothes when I walk the dog early in the morning and lat in the evening, so I try to make sure that the ones in tatters are rotated out too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel from the Monday nightmare at irk now.

I’m getting questions from the insurance company about covering the ER bill from the accident. If they decide not to, that will put me on teh hook for $1800 more dollars. Might ruin vacation plans for 2019. :frowning:

Worked, came home, walked Goride. Got the windows open, since it’s nice. Making wasabi fish with rice and green bean and oyster mushroom stir fry.

Gneral Burkhalter, is that you?

Sari, I’m a fan of deviled aigs.

I am not an egg man (nor a walrus for old Beatles fans) but more power to those who are.

No kids at soccer practice (it’s Fall break so they’re all out visiting and vacationing), so did some shopping. Meant to get tomatoes. lettuce and bread, but ended up with four 12-pak cartons of Pepsi (hey, for $3.00 each, they can sit in my house just fine).

doggio, I have the stomach for it, but I never liked wearing uniforms…

Juliet, happy that fresh H2O has returned to your place of employment.

Sari, my old (but serviceable) clothes go to Purple Heart; they come around every couple of months to make pickup.

FCM, Rice Krispies for supper…you grandbaby is eating healthier than you are…:p;)

Howdy Y’all! We supped and then went over to the church house for the Healin’ Service and Eucharist. OK, that’s not the only reason we went. I got a text (well, everyone on the Vestry got a text) this mornin’ from EYP about the pee-kahn trees that went down durin’ Michael. We had a very reasonable quote from a tree service and work could begin this afternoon upon majority approval, which, of course, was given via text. So, that was also a reason we went to see what got done. Bear (HEH!) in mind these are hyuuuuuuuuuge trees. They got done with three of 'em in the front and will deal with all of it over the next several days. YAY!

I remember those trees! And the altar rail made out of some of them.

They didn’t ALL go down, did they?:frowning:

MetalMouse I doubt that Purple Heart would take these clothes.

Deviled eggs don’t last long around here. I made 9 eggs and they are almost gone.

Swampy, If you can get someone to slab them up for you those pecan trees could bring the church a nice piece of change.
I remember when I was a kid in Pensacola, my dad had a friend with pecan trees and every year he would come home with a big gunny sack full of pecans and we kids would shell them for hours. Good times.

Am I the onliest one who thinks about things like that? I’ve still got chunks of the cherry and apple trees we had to cut down in our back yard.

Chili Verde is simmering in the pot and I’m gonna eat some in a few. Wifey went to the coast with her painting buddy and is just now on her way back.
I suppose I should save her some. :stuck_out_tongue:

Last week, we had the a/c on. This weekend, there’s a chance of snow to the west of us - yeah, in the mountains, but still. Our high today will be about 15° below average. But climate change is just a myth, right?

I’m up, I’m dressed, I’m ready to attack the pile of crap on my desk. Happy Thursday!!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work

Happy Thorsday!

It’s a dark 43 degrees outside. Supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 54 today.

I woke at 4:30, way too early, and there will be no nap today.

Main item on the agenda today is to go to the viewing. Viewing is 2-4, so I hope to be out of here by 12:30.
When I get back my son will read today’s chapter to me, which is on Glam Rock. David Bowie, Gary Glitter, Kiss, T Rex, among others.

Ripple is back to normal.
Dogs heal so much quicker than people.

On with the day.
