If you’re a scifi or fantasy fan, you’ve got entire universes of names to use.

My Maggie’s full name is Magrathea Ananke. Magrathea being the legendary lost world of planet builders from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Ananke being the Greek goddess of Fate and Destiny.

When I was a child, my older sisters had a mother cat they named Nemo, short for Mnemosyne, and named her kittens (two short litters) after the nine Muses: Clio, Callie, Poly, Terp, etc.
