It's Moanday So It's Time For A New MMP

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 52 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 72 and cloudy for the day. Rain is supposed to move in tonight. We shall see. No big plans for the day at all. OYKW will most likely sleep most of the mornin’ as is his wont on Sattidy and due to the fact he was really tahrd last night. I foresee binge watchin’ and N.O.L. at the bar down the road. The leftovers from the pepper steak shall be transformed into my version of Philly cheesesteaks for suppage.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I suppose I should purtify as one does need to look presentable to binge watch Netflix.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Good morning! **FCD **rolled in around 8:30 last night. I wish I had video of Higgs greeting her daddy - it was a hoot!

We’re up and dressed and waiting for the machinery delivery. Then we’ll do breakfast and erranding before coming home to bring the machine and accessories inside. Fun afternoon ahead. rah.

Happy Saturday!

Blurf. Rain forecast for this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. At least it’s still in the 50F range for now.

Glad FCD got home Ok; that’s a monster drive, surprised he’s up this early.

Now to wake up enough to go referee indoor soccer in a couple of hours. Sustenance is called for.

I broke fast and purtified. That should be enough for one mornin’. Glad Higgs was happy to see her daddy.

Happy Saturday!

It’s a pretty 50 degrees outside. A little chilly for sitting on the shady back porch, but I did sit out for a bit so the pup could run the yard. He won’t stay out long if he is by himself.
I let the cat out even though I’d rather he stay in.

I slept in, 'til almost 8, and have spent most of the morning puttering around getting little things done that needed to be done.
Lots I want to do today, whether or not it all gets done?
The fridge needs to be cleaned. Not cleaned out as I did that last Sunday for trash day, but all the shelves need to be wiped down. I don’t know why they get so dirty. The windows in the doors need to be cleaned, I don’t know how they get so dirty either. That is a job for Sah-son though, he does the windows.
I should throw the Moso bags out on the front porch.

Yesterday Ripple brought me the mail, we’ll see how he does today.
So cool, that dog will do about anything for a squirt of Easy Cheese.
On nail trimming day, as soon as we finish he runs right over, sits down, and stares at the can.
Anything for food.
Last night I had chicken nuggets and cole slaw for dinner. He was begging so I gave him a spoonful of the slaw. He licked it, took a bite, turned around and looked at me like you really eat this stuff???. He saw me eating it so he ate it too.

I’m glad** FCD** and OYKW made it home safely.

Congrats on the raaise Butters. Every little bit helps, eventually.

MetalMouse I have horrible veins. If they listen to me and use my left arm it’s not so bad. I used to get blood tests at another place and when I saw one particular nurse coming I would cringe. I knew it was going to hurt and leave a big bruise. It even hurt when she swapped vials, there were times I thought she was going to break the needle off in my arm. I liked her though as a person, so I never complained. Just cringed.

I don’t know how you handle all that refereeing.

Of course I prefer you {{{Spidey}}}, although I’m not saying for what

LOL Doggio - Canadian Serial Killer

Back to the grind around here.
Get the Moso bags out while the sun is still shining.

metal mouse, I’m a notoriously hard stick when they do labs. Usually, I try to make sure I’m well hydrated. The tech at my medical practice for the last couple of years is good though. Very few second tries or bruises.

sari, Nelson actually likes a number of raw fruits and veggies. When I grated a sweet potato for hashbrowns this morning, I gave him the nub. On work mornings, he gets a baby carrot while I’m packing my lunch and if I’m eating an apple or snapping green beans, he gets a bite.

Up, caffeinating, breakfasted (in fact, getting ready to think about lunch), towels and sheets washed, puppy crate cleaned and fixin’ to get purtified to step out to the dog park. After that, it will be bath time for Nelson. :stuck_out_tongue:

I got the TV hooked up last night but I’m gonna need help with the Roku setup. I’ll place a few texts and maybe by Monday have streaming options available again.

My daughter’s pug likes carrots. Higgs will sorta eat one if she figures out she’s not getting meat or cheese. Silly puppy!

Erranding is done. The machine - still mostly crated - is in the basement. Pretty amazing that the 2 of us were able to move a 1272# crate with only a lever and some wheels. Yay for engineering!

First load of laundry is done, second is in the dryer, and 3rd is in the washer. Shortly, I’ll finish the last bit of touch-up painting so **FCD **can install his machine. He’s so excited about this new toy!

Once the painting and laundry is done, I’m thinking some heavy-duty chillage is in order.

And I’m done with painting. The last load is in the dryer, and I think my new vacuum cleaner is being delivered. My life is such a whirlwind of excitement!!!

You make me tired just reading your posts FCM
I am only on first load laundry today, which is still in the washer as the clothes from yesterday were put in the dryer this morning.

The moso bags did get tossed out onto the porch. I had to wake Sah-son to get the one in his room.

I’ve sent out a few emails, did some banking, and uploaded pics from from phone to the computer.
I tried to watch a few of my favorite YTers, but I’m just not into it today.

I found a cool thing on amazon, something I didn’t know existed.
A baby gate that has a door in it for small pets to get through. That will be perfect to keep the dog out of the cat room/litter box.

I put a roast in the slow cooker for tomorrow’s N.O.L. and we et at the bar down the road. Good burgers! ‘Tis 70 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. so I have cave windows open for some fresh air. OYKW is acheivin’ nappage and I’m on teh intartoobz. Life is good.

Shoulda called me ------- I could have slipped the Outback in front of him with the cannon in the back pointed at him and a sign saying “you really should head for 70”. It may just have worked.
Went shopping at TSC, had a meeting for our history event, had lunch and are now vegging out.

They even named a road after me.

::Snerk:: I’s a bit hongry as I didn’t have a big lunch. OTOH, I had three (3) breakfasts.
Sari, a good dart player could stick my veins.

OBL would beg for carrots & lettuce. Meat, not so much. It was fun to watch, but torturous to cut up onions or garlic; he’d beg & beg, until you offered him some, then he’s violently turn his head away & walk away all dejected. :frowning:
Ruble, I is faster w/o the musket - 2nd place (AG) in states this morning!

I just assembled my new vacuum and ran it over the same carpet I vacuumed yesterday - It done good! And emptying the canister is easier than the other one. Plus it’s smaller and more maneuverable. I think I’m gonna like it. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll figure out the attachments.

Laundry is done. We went to Red Robin and I got me free burger. **FCD **is napping and I’m about to recline with my book. Life is good.

The last lady that took blood from me said, “I never drink. Wine.”
No, sorry, she said, “Ooooooh! Look at all the choices I’ve got!”

Worked, came home, napped. Watching the NHL Skills Competition, and drinking The Toll.

sari, Gordie will eat anything.

I clicked on that beer and it sounds nummy. I was introduced to stouts and other dark beers by my sister.

Sari,Red, I don’t have quite as many problems as you have; they usually put a tourniqet (sp) around my upper arm just slightly tighter than painful, and then the lady taps my arm at the elbow to ‘bring up’ the vein. Usually gets it the first time, but one time they put the needle in and I could feel them ‘fishing’ to find the vein. That was lots of fun…

Did my refereeing (not all that hard, it’s inside a middle-school gym and I don’t have to run, but the constant shifting back and forth do take a toll on my upper legs) and then paid Wendy a visit. Problem is it’s nearly 8pm and I’ve got to knosh on something, since I usually don’t eat on Sunday until lunch. But I’m not real hungry. I’ll work out something.

FCM, that’s a big machine. Glad you two could handle it without too much stress. And tomorrow is my Red Robin Sunday (I have a 6-restaurant cycle for Sunday dinner).

All y’all take care now.

metal mouse, it sounds like ice cream should fit your nosh bill nicely. Sonic’s usually open ‘til midnight on the weekend. Just sayin’. :stuck_out_tongue:

The bed is remade, Nelson bathed, towels folded and put away and am getting ready to put the beans for tomorrow’s Persian bean and noodle soup to soak. I’ve got aigplant to fix an zigplant and tomato casserole for the vegetation part and some pita, so I should be good to go.

:dubious:
