It's Moanday Somewhere - A MMP

Knittage shall ensue. MWAH!

We put out the Back To School today at work(Hiya, CatDude!) Making Cajun Stew for dinner. Stormy tonight.

That’s why i joined a league.

I tripled my average the year I joined the league. Of course I started at a 22, so I couldn’t really go down any farther…

We lurves you, Butters! {{{{hugs}}}}

Flytrap, I’m alll out of Lithuanians, can I intrest you in Sweedish twins?:D(Youtube link)

Please pass the eye bleach.

I somehow never got to see it. I just found it online & watched it. I had to keep reminding myself, “It’s supposed to be campy.” When you think of it that way, it isn’t really *that *bad. :dubious:

No, I’m the one with great responsibility.

Don’cha know anything? Sheesh! <old rolleyes>

I don’t know…guys like that might could get me to watch hockey more often.

Butters I luffs ya!
doggio, you can bowl with me anytime. But you should know up front, low score buys the beer.

I always pick Lithuanians for a minority group because there aren’t enough of them around for folks to get pissed off.
Besides, Nice Jewish girls wouldn’t be interested in providing…entertainment…at a Motel 6 Safe House.

Oye gevalt!

Has Swampy turned you to the Dark Side?
I was counting on you to be on board despite our Trifling Differences, dude.
We need someone to occupy this Wanda person, and I thought that you were the man for the job.
Well, if you won’t cowboy up for the team with no I in it, I guess Spiderman and I will be able to deal with her.
It will be a shame to disappoint those Lithuanian girls, but if you aren’t up to it…

I am loved!

I like bowling but haven’t been since a rotator cuff repair a few years ago. Maybe I’m healed enough. I have never heard of duck bowling though.

So I should always bring beer money.

Dude, read above carefully; Swampy didn’t say anything about Wanda being a person.

I’m especially disappointed that our resident ichthyologist doesn’t know [del]who[/del] what Wanda is. Do try & keep up.

Since you’ll be dealing with Wanda, I guess that leaves it up to me (alone) to not disappoint the Lithuanian girl(s)!

P.S. Don’t even start b/c I’m allowed to come home smelling like cheap perfume!

I can smell like cheap Lithuanian perfume, too.

See, now I know I’m lefter! Coaster that is! ‘Twas a day. My irk place moved and I got to unpack, which was kinda fun. Always more fun to unpack. Just one serious conversation with the movers about my missing white board. They were sure they had moved it. Nope, no 6’ x 8’ white board here. I do like my great big white board. Shuts the door off good when needed too.

FCM - I admire the knitting. I finally managed my first pair of socks last winter. They don’t match, but I was happy with them.

Happy Thors Eve from the Left Coast everyone!

**tgif tgif tgif **.

Good morning! My sweetie was going to let me sleep in, but once I’m awake, that’s it. Oh well.

Butters, this is duckpin bowling. Smaller pins, smaller balls, three rolls instead of 2 per frame. It’s what I grew up with - 10-pin bowling was rarer and more expensive in my neighborhood.

**Sunny **- I’ve never attempted socks, altho I’ve got a cool pattern (OK, it’s crochet) for slippers that look like high-top sneakers. And for MMP purposes, I use the word knitting to include crocheting, just because.

We had a real gully-washer last night after 10, and it’s kinda foggy out this morning. It’s going to be really warm and muggy thru the weekend - dunno if we’ll venture forth at all. I can blame the weather, but it’ll mostly be due to FCD’s folks. They’ll get here this afternoon and all things considered, they won’t want to do the tourist thing. Which is fine. We should know today what Monday and next week will hold, but part of it is driving to FL and back. ick.

Other than that, um, local peaches are in! I need to buy some jars and some peaches for another batch of jam. Maybe I can do that this weekend. Yum!

Happy Firday!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and frawgy with a predicted high of 92 for the day and rain this afternoon/evenin’ accordin’ to the weather PTB. We had some biiiiiiiiig rain and tstorms last night. Made for great sleepy time.

{{{Butters}}} I lurves ya too!

I’m glad for the rain. It’s been really dry the past couple of weeks. Of course, with the rain that means the grass will decide to have a growth spurt. This will mean mowage needs to occur. Such is life.

Wanda is the knower of all things at the orifice. Plus she makes nummy baked goods. One does not mess with Wanda.

Ok, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Le sigh.

Happy Firday Y’all!

I’ve seen duck pinfeathers, but they don’t look like they’d hold up to a bowling ball very well.

It was sheer delight. Of course, it helps when you have professionals mocking it it as you watch. The ending, though, I laughed until I cried just due to the action. Rifftrax didn’t get the rights to release the riffed movie as a DVD, but I’m hoping for a commentary soundtrack like they did for Starship Troopers last year.

And Tara Reid has not aged well.

Happy Firday!

It’s a partly sunny cool 66 degrees right now, but it’s going to get up to 84 later today. I like these cool nights.

Not much on the agenda today, just irk, irk, irk. I need to do some dusting and organizing around here as well.

It’s 9AM - chores are done, some additional groceries have been acquired, unpacked and (as required) frozen, and the sun is just coming out.

We have no idea what’s going to happen next week. BIL is having a heart cath and possibly a pacemaker implanted. FIL was ready to cancel his surgery to go back to FL and be there, but **FCD **talked him out of it - there’s no reason to do that. His wife is with him and except for sitting in the waiting room with her, their presence would add nothing. But that means we don’t know what will happen next week.

FIL has his surgery on Monday, and they won’t let him leave before Tuesday. As soon as he can go, **FCD **will be driving them to FL and I’ll be following to take their car. BIL has been staying with his parents - no idea why he doesn’t stay with his wife… Anyway, with him there, we’d either have to sleep on the floor or go to a motel (which would be my preference. I don’t know how long **FCD **would want to stay with his folks. Meanwhile, we’ve got cats and fish to contend with - they’d be OK for an overnight, but not a lengthy stay so there’s that to consider.

It’s not entirely logical, but I’m pissed at BIL. His health issues are largely his own doing - not taking his meds, not getting any exercise, not eating a diabetic diet. And the business of staying with his elderly parents who have their own health problems - that just blows my mind, especially because I know he’s a big baby who demands to be waited upon - and this is a 56-y/o man, not a whiny teen. I feel sorry for my in-laws and my spousal unit, and I resent having to spend 2 days on the road because of him. Otherwise, the inlaws would have stayed with us till they were able to drive themselves home.

Thus endeth my bitching. Carry on.

Happy Friday, people! I did not sleep well last night and now I has a late-afternoon blurf going on. In fact it’s a very blurfy blurf. It might last into the rest of the day.

Good morning, mes amis! Happy Firday!

So far today, I’ve had to do battle with the sprog’s insurance company; they were sitting on the renewal for some dumb reason and sent out letters that coverage was cancelled. He’s good now and as soon as the processing is finished, it’ll be reinstated back to the first of July. Which doesn’t help now if he has to go to the doctor.

I now have to make a phone call to arrange for a hotel room for a convention next month, and I have irk to do.
