Zombification?
And for bonus points, the washer has decided that making horrific noises while in a spin mode is a good thing. Fortunately, it did this on the last load we’ll need to do for a few days (DH deemed it safe to finish running that load, so I did), and I’ve already alerted management and been informed maintenance will be over tomorrow afternoon (when someone will be home) to have a look/listen.

Good news is that I’m up to soft solid food, such as PBJ (white bread, smooth PB). Biting and chewing are not as yet fun, but are easier than such actions would have been yesterday. My stomach is a bit happier, since meal shakes are not exactly satisfying to live on for several days.

Tempting, but I really do need to be careful with anything potentially addictive. Scary-high rate of substance abuse problems on both sides of my family, so I’m high-risk to get hooked and I’m well aware of that danger. Let’s just say a lot of my relatives are shining “what NOT to do with your life” examples.
Don’t you have small children to frighten?
