It's Moanday Somewhere - A MMP

MOOOOOOM each cake comes with a certificate of authenticity which is numbered, just like on teevee, so you know it’s real!

Will you still send me the ice cream cake iffn you’re sending me a German chawklit cake, too? If not, I’ve had German chawklit cake (though w/o Mennonite ladies as one of the ingredients) but not the DQ ice cream cake so please still send me a DQ ice cream cake instead. Kthxby.

Yeah, right.
Just like my Numbered Swiss Bank Account.
“Thank you for using our Swiss Bank. Your account is number 1.”

I always enjoy a hurricane on the Outer Banks if only to watch the national news talking heads mispronounce all the county and town names. This time around NPR distinguished itself by misspelling Ocracoke on its website. (They spelled it Okrakoke. That sounds like a nasty Jones Soda flavor.)

Wait a minute! That’s my Swiss Bank account number. No wonder I’ve been having trouble accessing my balance - you’ve been stealing my Swissified money!!!

Nah, I did a bunch of work for the fellow Gannett station WVEC. One such story was this one, which was also shown on my station.

This short video summed up our stay nicely…
We just knocked out ‘looklive’ shots to fill airtime as fast as we could.

Howdy from da cave! Moanday has been survived. YAY! Chikin enchiladas for dindin tonight. A creative way to use up the last of the smoked chikin. They’re already made up and as soon as OYKW calls to say he’s headed this way I shall preheat the oven and bake ‘em. Only takes about twenty minutes to bake with the last five minutes bein’ take out of oven, throw cheese on the top and let it get all melty. YUM!

**FCD **did a really neat effect on his back fender - unfortunately, I can’t do it justice with a photo. As you move around the fender, skulls in the background appear and disappear. He’s going to do the same on the front fender, as background for other artwork. Very cool…

Ok. First the Amish cucumber salad and now the Mennonite Ladies cake. I’m not sure where the dalmatian rub came in, but it looks like this is the hazardous cooking area.

(I was going to ask if Girl Scout Cookies were next, but I got ninja’d.)

Have appointment tomorrow morning with DMV to iron out The Big Mess. It’ll be fun. Fortunately, I have documentation.

Enchilada bakeage has commenced. No Amish, Mennonite Ladies, or Dalmations were harmed or used as an ingredient in the makin’ of the enchiladas.

The following is an unbiased critique of the chikin enchiladas…

YUM!!!

ETA: First on Two!

Survived my return to irk today, but required nappage after I got home.

I worked all morning on a new sheet music website, and I think it’s about finished! I mean, I will update it as more sheet music gets added, but I finished the basic website. Don’t know if it’s visible on search engines yet. Probably not. Ah well.

Rosie’s sig to everyone. And to add to the mix, I feel like poo. The last three times I have awakened, it’s been to an anxiety attack. Once that goes away, a headache sets in. This sucks.

Speaking of things that suck, RT is back on the road again. He’ll be home again in 2 weeks.

In better news, I have a show this weekend and I’m working on getting stuff ready for it. I’ve decided to only work on making things that I think are fun. This may put a damper on sales, but I don’t care.

The home health care visit went fairly well; they’ll come every other day, well Monday-Wednesday-Friday, except we’ll probably get my daughter to do one of the bandage changes - the Wednesday one - and then it will just be Monday and Friday. Lots of papers to sign for the program! Both legs are now bandaged and wrapped. And they only hurt a little. LOL

Gentle hugs for Sticky, plus good luck on the show this weekend Glad you were able to get back to work, BBBBBobbio just take it easy and nap when you can.

I may have to wear slippers to Walmart this week! LOL Seriously, I’m not sure I can get my wrapped feet into any of the shoes I have!! I guess I’ll be appropriately dressed though. I hope everyone is having a good Monday. Heard from my friend who started chemo last week - today was one of the first really good days she has had in a while, so keep my friend Michele in your prayers. She sounded very upbeat, so glad for that.

We’re going on a Bahamas cruise in January! The fare was so cheap, was almost couldn’t afford not to go - at least that’s the rationale. Plus it’s the same ship that my mom returns on the day we leave, and she’s agreed to take Higgs, so we’ll drive up to the ship, give them the car and the dog, then they’ll go home and we’ll cruise. Yay!

Supper was mega-yum - turkey that I’d forgotten was in the freezer, gravy from a can (don’t judge me!!), smashed N.O.T.s, and broccoli. Yum. Cake later. Life is good.

That is good.

I’m chilling out to some music from a video my city’s mayor posted on Twitter. Nice.

BBBobbio glad you survived.

Midget yay for finished website!

Herbs add a muumuu with the slippers and you could be a contestant for Ms. Wally*World

{{{StickyBuns}}} feel better soonest. I third the have fun with the show.

MOOOOOOM up until your post I had no idea gravy even came in cans. It can’t be any worse than the powdered stuff, right?

Very soon I shall retire to the bedroom to watch teevee until sleepy time. Da bear is tahrd!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Canned gravy is better than the powdered stuff, but I’m thinking next time I’ll spring for the name brand. Food Lion’s turkey gravy is very very thin - VERY thin!!

Time to knit! MWAH!
