We let Bert make our supper - we had burgers and fries. Now it’s dark and we’re home and vegging has begun in earnest.
Anyone gonna watch the Oscars with me?
rosie of course I’m not watchin’ the Oscars. Why, whatever the Oscars do in the privacy of their own home is their business! Why should we be watchin’ 'em? Ok, they do leave their curtains open, but still, we shouldn’t look. No really. We shouldn’t. Stop that! 
And on that note, I believe I shall now retire to yon bedroom to lie upon the bed and watch teevee.

I don’t like awards shows of any flavor, so I won’t be watching Oscars. However, I will go recline now. *** MWAH!***
I’ll be skipping the Oscars, as I do most years. Come to think of it, I work with a man by that name – must remember to tease him tomorrow.
Had a nice day with my friend, got the place cleaned up, got some cooking done and re-untidied my kitchen, and am now listening to a pot of Lila beans with sausage and garlic simmering away while the rain slowly turns to sleet, hoping we don’t lose power so I don’t lose heat, and wondering what the weather will mean re: tomorrow’s workday. In the meantime, I’m re-stringing a cuff bracelet that started falling apart (it was store-bought, and I’m adding a bit of finesse to the design while I’m at it) and thinking over a few fond memories of my Other Shoe, and occasionally nudging the sleeping kitteh at my feet with my toes just because I can.

Worked, came home, having a margarita, since it’s National Margarita Day.
And the other half is an overwhelming horde of Pointy Stick Wielding Sri Lankan spiders.

Rain and ice pellets, whatever they are. I think it is sleet. 22F. Mrs. Plant did not go to work tonight, and I doubt that I will be able to get out of the driveway in the morning.
