Ugh. I didn’t want the summer to end, and now the first flakes of snow are flying through the air.
This time of year makes me want to hibernate. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of sun or the fact that I hate cold weather, but I start to get the lazies this time of year - just don’t feel like going out.
If it wasn’t for family I would have already left Michigan for a warmer climate.
Yup, it started yesterday and it’s still coming down. Heavy, wet, warm snow.
I like it. The beginning of winter is always fun. It’s when it’s April and still snowing that things get grim.
Tell me about it! It’s fine until February, then I’m ready to see warmer weather in March.
That doesn’t usually happen here. This year I’m going to plan ahead and save some money towards a vacation in April. Zip a dee do dah indeed.

I saw snow in Chicago today while watching football.
It was cloudy here this morning. Thankfully, they burned off quickly.
We had sleet today and once that stopped there was a lot of heavy rain - my wiperblades could not keep up!
