Must be kitty season, there’s a buncha threads out there.

Well here’s one more!

Cassis passed away two months ago; she was 17, had kidney disease. It was her time. But by golly, I missed her.

So did Calvin.

So although we’ll never be able to replace Cass, we did find a new friend for us and Calvin last night. She doesn’t have a name yet, but I’m pushing for Janey (Lady Jane Grey). I’ve suggested it and that’s all I’m gonna say for now. Not gonna push it. I offered to put it up here for your suggestions, but my wife wants the name to come from us.

She’s a beauty. Scared crapless, but we’re working on her. I can hear my wife upstairs with her now as she jumps up and down trying to grab the string (kitten, not my wife). I think she’ll be fine. And I think Calvin will too…when they finally get introduced.
