Today was a hell of a day. I brain-farted the office holiday luncheon, which normally is no big deal since it’s catered. But my agency forms teams and plays cutthroat Jeopardy. And I was on a team. Since I’m a Doper, my team needed me. We won by an astonishing amount. 
I also won a nice wallet as a door prize, so it was an afternoon well spent.

Howdy Y’all! Another day survived. YAY!!! As soon as OYKW gets here we shall head over to the church house to make pimento cheese sammiches for soup 'n sammich night. I also have two gallons of sweet tea to take. ‘Tis gloomy out and goin’ to get rainy in a while so soup 'n sammich sounds like a good thing for dindin.

Home, semi-brain-fried. **FCD **isn’t here yet - guess he got hung up after his marathon meeting. But supper’s gonna be clean-out-the-fridge, so I’m not too concerned.
Busy and frustrating afternoon - there’s some text on my drawing that doesn’t want to show up in the .pdf and I don’t understand that! I’ll mess with it tomorrow. And if all goes well, tomorrow will be my last day till the 28th. We shall see…

I’m gathering that folks on the MMP have actually done their holiday shopping. This is a signal for me that I should perhaps consider getting my ass in gear. I have presents for a total of 1 (one) person. That person is NOT my children or husband.
I am in deep doo-doo. Thank goodness for online shopping.
My shopping consisted of two $10 gifts for our goofy exchange (both from Think Geek) and a gift for my daughter (also ordered on line.) I wrapped them all last night. I’m done. **FCD **got his parents tickets to their local theater - he phoned in the order and it was mailed directly to his folks. No wrapping needed.
Can’t get much easier than that.
Meanwhile, I’s tahred - I’m going to log off and veg till I drag my carcass to bed. *** MWAH!***

I clocked in to work for the first time today at 5am. I didn’t know there was a 5am that didn’t involve hunting or fishing. Clocked out for good at 7pm. I’m getting too old for this *&#%.
