I cheated a couple of nights ago and made Hamburger Helper too. I made the beef stroganoff kind, but added fresh sour cream to it, along with some onion and a touch of garlic.

Welp, I made it through another work week and tomorrow is another Furlough Friday. :rolleyes: I have a lot to do tomorrow, but don’t know how much I’ll actually accomplish.

In my usual Thursday evening exhausted and achy state. Car phone charger died, gate remote gave me grief (worked fine for my pet WalkingTechfix), cat snubbed her dinner. Oh well, we found another charger with two USB ports so we can both charge up while in the car, we’ll see about the remote, and if the cat chooses not to eat, that’s her problem.
Hoping I can coax DH, who had a very leisurely day, into making me a cheeseburger.
I’d rather be felt.
Some of us poor souls would settle for being felt, cheaply or otherwise!
Nothing exciting going on here today. Last night I did the grocery run followed by half an hour on the wii, a shower, laundry and dindins. Today I am doing my best to look busy and find some motivation.

It’s 68 degrees outside with a projected high of 86.
We are having a very mild summer, when Mother Nature is being so kind it makes me wonder what surprises she has hidden behind her back.
Today is my last day for feeding the cats, however I will be watching piddle pup (remember her) for the next two days.
If all goes well I won’t be watching any of them for much longer. I’m going to miss them.
Appraisal is today, inspection is tomorrow, settlement is Sept 16 - possibly sooner.
Since I missed a few hours of irk yesterday I will irk extra hours today.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 75 Amurrkin out and foggy with a predicted high of 93 for the day. Last night we had a hyuuuuuuuuuuge tboomer that lasted a little over an hour with lots o’ rain. A real frawg strangler.
Goin’ to the good local seafood place tonight. YAY! That’s pretty much all the news I got.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence.

In a change of pace, instead of having a tick walking on me, this morning, I was awakened by a ant strolling on my neck. I have no idea where it came from - I never see ants in here. No matter now - he was buried at sea.
And it remains to be seen if I work today. So far, the only two guys going out have already been monitored, so unless someone new decides to give it a go…
I’ve got some sheets to launder today - that’ll take a few minutes. Maybe I’ll do some weeding, too - we shall see.
That’s all I’ve got. And we’re just on page 4 - slow week in the MMP. We must be suffering from a b-day cake overload.

Going to be an interesting weekend. Amongst other things I have a show where there are 50 artists and only two of them were featured on their fb page - including me! I really hope it’s a good show. It’s their first year, but there seems to have been lots of good press going on about it. That’s my day tomorrow. Today is going to be spent mostly getting ready for tomorrow and making a house call for some woman who bought a ring from me and then lost it.
